Jan 11th 2013 3:50PM I kind of hate the line: "Refusing to obey crew instruction is a federal offense."
I'm pretty sure that line was originally put in place due to passenger safety, such as buckling up when the plane is taking off or landing, or simply obeying instruction during an emergency. The threat feels like it's overstretching the boundaries of said law.
Don't get me wrong, I'm not advocating for use of pornography or other materials that some people would find distasteful. The threat of "Do what I say or else" just rubs me the wrong way.
Oct 29th 2012 2:50PM Complain to the airline. Discomforting other passengers isn't the answer.
Oct 29th 2012 1:14PM No. It's not ethical. It's a pretty dick thing to do. Whenever my seat doesn't recline, I call a flight attendant. I'd like to think that if the person behind me is caught with this garbage, they'd get pretty embarrassed.
Jun 11th 2012 12:43PM I'm a Canadian, I had to get a Visa to enter Brazil. An important under-tone to tip #2 is to always check, even if you've been to the country before. Entry rules change constantly.
Apr 26th 2012 1:42PM I'm a suitcase guy. In hostels, I often feel like people with backpacks are looking down on me. Why is there such a divide? I think some people use their backpack as more of a status symbol representing how much of a hardcore traveler they are.
Apr 16th 2012 11:05AM Comments on this article are spread amongst the series of photos. That makes me sad.
Apr 16th 2012 10:56AM The pyramid reality one is a flash video, you might be missing a plugin. Dare I call a fail on your end? =P
Jun 20th 2011 3:26PM "Generally speaking, you're safe with anything under seven inches in length."
Guess that excludes me! Haha!
Someone had to say it... don't judge me :(
Mar 8th 2011 11:41AM Sorry for the quick conclusions and I appreciate the follow-up. My initial reaction was that this seemed like a post better suited for Engadget. I was curious as to how you'd curve it to fit a travel blog.
Mar 7th 2011 9:58AM Sorry, but this seems out of place on a travel blog... I guess your tie-in is the road-trip aspect, but you didn't even mention that... it just feels like forced advertising.
