Aug 12th 2008 3:02AM So Matt,,, perhaps you would like to let us know what all the "krap" is from Kodak.
I own more than a few Kodak camera's and they most of the time beat out my Canon, Sony, Panasonic and Casio camera's when comparing picture quality.
Perhaps you could let us know which model numbers of Kodak's you have personaly owned and why you did not like them ????

Aug 9th 2008 12:47AM I pre-ordered the Zi6 on Kodaks website,,,,, ships from Kodak on or BEFORE Sept 2nd,,, about a month sooned than Amazon wil be shipping them.
Just thought you would like to know,, unless you want to wait till October to get it.

Kodak for your information has been making some killer cameras for the last few years. I own Canon, Panasonic, Casio and a Sony just name a few, Im a camera junkie.
My Kodaks always have the BEST picture quality,, and yes, even better than the Canon.
I also own a few small camcorders, the Flip Ultra and the Flip Mino and for the small size they are they put out some pretty good video.
I have played the video from my Aiptek A-HD 720p camera on my 60" Pioneer plasma and it looks really good, and thats only at 30fps.
Sorry, I dont think the Kodak Zi6 is going to be crap at all.

Aug 7th 2008 4:15AM Im kinda of a "small video camera" junkie, and it all started with the first Flip, currently I have the Flip, the Flip Ultra and the Flip Mino, also have 2 Aiptek's A-HD 720p and a SD Aiptek,,, ohh and also a RCA Small Wonder EZ200 (the RCA sucks in terms of video quality) compared to all the others.
The Flip Ultra and the Aiptek A-HD 720p are the best of the bunch as far as video quality and I think produce some very nice video for what they are.
Most of the hands on reviews I have read on the Kodak Zi6 all say the video is way better than the Flip's, so I am very much looking forward to getting my already pre-ordered Zi6.
I hope its as good of camera as I think it is going to be.
Just my 2 cents.

Yamaha's YSP-500 compact "Sound Projector" {Engadget}
Oct 13th 2007 7:43AM Im reading these comments saying the YSP's are junk and dont work in the real world.
All I can say is WOW, I will bet the posters that made those comments have never owned or perhaps never even heard a YSP system.
Having owned a YSP-800 and a YSP-1100 I can say from personal hands on use of these systems they are far from junk or BS.
In the right shaped room with some walls to reflect the sound the YSP's systems can sound jaw droppng great.
I cant tell you how many times I have had friends over to watch movies and they cant watch the movie because they are in such shock over how great the YSP sounds.
If ya wana get some real opinions of the YSP systems from folks that really do own them and have really heard them (unlike some of the posters on this comment page) go on the AVS forum and read the tons of positive feedback and real comments about the YSP's.
