Report: Americans using 8% less gasoline than 2006 peak, will never go up again {Autoblog}
Dec 22nd 2010 10:19PM Electric cars would be a great idea if electricity could be generated by magic. The problem is that most electric in the US is generated by plants that burn coal or natural gas. So the problem is that you take one kind of fuel and burn it to produce a different kind of energy, and that energy is used to propel a car. Along with all the loss of efficiency that occurs with each step in the process, you still are burning something to propel a vehicle down the road. Now if the environmental whackos would stop protesting nuclear generation of electricity, we may have a future with electric cars.
Payday loans: How one woman got caught in a vicious cycle {WalletPop}
Nov 29th 2010 6:53AM I have had to get payday loans and I always use Cashland in Fairfield Ohio. They are very nice, even when my check bounced. They called and agreed to wait till my next paycheck which was two weeks, and I only had to pay about $30 more. They didnt scream, threaten jail, or any of these horror stories.
Fighting for Jobs, Fighting for You: A Message From Rep. Barbara Lee, Chair of the Congressional Black Caucus {BV on Money}
Oct 21st 2010 7:23AM The economy was good for the first 6 yrs of the Bush administration, but the whole time the dems said we were in a recession, or even a depression. Well, they finally convinced enough people to vote dem that they took control of congress in Jan. 2007. Barney Frank (dem) took control of the Banking committee, and Chris Dodd (dem) took control of housing. Fifteen months later the crash of banking and housing occured. Thanks Barney and Chris!!! Of course they didnt get the blame- lets blame Bush. As of this point, democrats have controlled congress for just under 4 years, and look at the mess. Of course you have to understand that congress writes the federal budget, they decide who gets how much money, they decide if the government will only spend what they take in- or how huge the deficit will be, they make a LOT of the rules that influence our lives and businesses. The dems say they are looking out for the working man, then they do things to put business out of business. How does that help the working people? The government cannot create jobs, they can get out of the way and let free enterprize do what it does best. Or, they can get in the way, and make things much worse for much longer.
Makeover Diaries: From Unhappily Married to Free, Fit and Fine {Stylelist}
Oct 5th 2010 9:46PM A man can still love his wife after she gains baby weight, and he can tell her she's beautiful, and that he still wants to make love to her...but if she feels unattractive and withdraws, and turns down his pleas for sex, and making love happens twice a year, it is going to cause a man to look for love somewhere else. I'm not saying it is right to cheat, but it isnt right for a woman to starve her man either. Why do women wait until their marriage falls apart to decide they want to be attractive again? and Yes, this is my reality.
Sugarbabe -- The Psychologist Who Says We Should Let Men Cheat {Lemondrop}
Aug 5th 2010 9:50PM So what does a man do when he would like sex 3-4 times a week, but only gets it 3-4 times a year? I still love my wife ( I hate her for the way she treats me), but I want to keep it together for the kids. I would love to have a girlfriend, but its hard to keep them secret for long, plus I would probably fall in love and leave my wife for her. You probably wouldnt believe how many married men go to places where other men are and get oral sex from another man.

Jun 29th 2010 10:07PM Hey speech, we didnt have 8 yrs of conservative administration. Bush wasnt as conservative as most conservatives wanted, and he had a republican led congress for 6 yrs. The last 2yrs was led by democrats, and since the congress writes the budget, the last 2yrs were budget busters, which led to the recession that you libs blamed on Bush.
Militia groups creating their own currency -- again {Daily Finance}
Dec 13th 2009 9:50AM When you mention the KKK, you must remember Sen. Byrd of W.V.,one-time grand wizard of the KKK, but now a beloved and respected member of congress (democrat). In fact, most KKK were southern democrats who didnt want to end slavery. The new militia movement has nothing to do with the KKK, rascism, or hate, we only want to make sure the government respects and obeys the constitution, we want to make sure the gov. stops trampelling our rights, and the gov. must stop spending our country into bankruptcy.
Mea Culpa: Fox News keeps making conservative-friendly mistakes {Daily Finance}
Nov 19th 2009 11:07PM Three cheers for Cathy. You are right, most people live conservatively, but lots of people think that deocrats care more about the working people so they vote democrat. But the truth is the democrats are the ones telling you they care more, and that republicans hate everybody. The dems are lying to people to get their vote- when will America wake up and see the truth?
Amtrak to become gun-friendly? {Gadling}
Sep 18th 2009 11:28PM Why wont liberals ever believe the facts? Most states allow concealed carry now, and the crime rates are lower in those states. Liberals said it would be like the wild west, with shootings over parking spaces and blood would fill the streets. They were so wrong , but still they cling to their fear of honest citizens carrying weapons. I have carried a pistol for four yrs and have never pulled it to threaten, intimidate, or scare anybody. The only time I pulled it out was because of an attacking pit bull, and I didnt shoot the dog . So Ken, you are wrong, just because I carry a weapon, it doesnt make me look for an excuse to use it... it just makes me a free American.
