Now they appear to have the attitude of "so what if I blow the call, there's instant replay I can fall back on". Some of the impact of instant replay will be that the game will slow down even more and the quality of umpires and referees will head south. And who's happy? The advertisers who now have more minutes to hawk their goods and services!

Oct 4th 2010 12:22PM Don't see how "our unrealistic expectations, monstrous insecurities, unwillingness to approach strangers online or in person, etc. etc. etc." would prevent us from re-populating the planet and that there's any miracle involved. Just take teen pregnancies as one small example. Far to easy to become/get someone pregnant and bring more insecure and ignorant people into the world. Besides, just look at where the high birth rates are and you can see many are "commanded" to have children.

Feb 16th 2010 1:42PM He might not have been too fat to fly. But there's more to fitting into a seat or two. He might have been a potential danger/hazard to other passengers should something have happened to the plane. I for one wouldn't be too happy being in a position of having to leave the plane quickly in some emergency and not being able to because someone was too big to move down an aisle or go out an emergency exit door or window because of their size. Besides, given his size, he should walk instead of fly. The exercise would be good for him.

Probably did some reckless flying maneuver to get himself shot down. So, yeah, didn't tell Charlie when D-Day was. Still, national hero? Don't think so. And don't think his ex-wife whom he abandoned would think so either. All this talk about morals and God. Don't think McCain's actions warrant a ticket to heaven. Lastly, learn lower case.
