May 28th 2012 2:51PM What? No mention of Indiana Jones & The Last Crusade. Pffft...
Oct 27th 2010 12:29PM The use of instant reply has allowed umpires and referees to get sloppy. Now they appear to have the attitude of "so what if I blow the call, there's instant replay I can fall back on". Some of the impact of instant replay will be that the game will slow down even more and the quality of umpires and referees will head south. And who's happy? The advertisers who now have more minutes to hawk their goods and services!
Oct 4th 2010 12:22PM Don't see how "our unrealistic expectations, monstrous insecurities, unwillingness to approach strangers online or in person, etc. etc. etc." would prevent us from re-populating the planet and that there's any miracle involved. Just take teen pregnancies as one small example. Far to easy to become/get someone pregnant and bring more insecure and ignorant people into the world. Besides, just look at where the high birth rates are and you can see many are "commanded" to have children.
Feb 16th 2010 1:42PM He might not have been too fat to fly. But there's more to fitting into a seat or two. He might have been a potential danger/hazard to other passengers should something have happened to the plane. I for one wouldn't be too happy being in a position of having to leave the plane quickly in some emergency and not being able to because someone was too big to move down an aisle or go out an emergency exit door or window because of their size. Besides, given his size, he should walk instead of fly. The exercise would be good for him.
Jan 3rd 2010 3:48PM This is all such bs. As if Leno's being moved to 10PM was going to bring more people to that hour of TV than there were before. No way. So what are the people who aren't watching Leno watching at 10PM? They're watching what they were before Leno was moved. Except for those who were watching what Leno replaced. Those are the ones who got screwed. So, saves NBC right!
Dec 28th 2009 9:00AM Colts organizations should itself as not being a winning organization despite the team's successes. As soon as he has a chance to leave, Peyton Manning will go to a team that would have left him in.
Dec 2nd 2009 11:03AM In this Internet age with social media commentary and blogs all over the place, everyone's a critic, kind of making "professional" ones obsolete. Same with restaurant critics and any other who thinks they're an expert. Except among those who find the opinion of such folk to be of value and those numbers are probably dwindling.

"I will never understand why the American people don't see Palin is more one of us than comrade obama"
LOL. Personally, I do understand why a segment of the American people think Palin is even remotely qualified to be this country's vice president. Have we slipped so far? Just reflects the overall quality and intelligence of the American voter. Boy, has it been dumbed down. As for comrade obaman...what BS on the phrase. He's no more a comrade than is McCain or W. And, BTW, was a time was a comrade meant friend, buddy, pal...as in comrades in arms (or peace). Surfchik? Think the board hit you in the head far too often!
Oct 22nd 2008 2:45PM TJ the Clintonite? Only Clinton I can think of the goes along with this person's capitalized comments is DeWitt Clinton. And, about McCain being a hero? Probably did some reckless flying maneuver to get himself shot down. So, yeah, didn't tell Charlie when D-Day was. Still, national hero? Don't think so. And don't think his ex-wife whom he abandoned would think so either. All this talk about morals and God. Don't think McCain's actions warrant a ticket to heaven. Lastly, learn lower case. Hard to listen to you with all the shouting.
Oct 21st 2008 7:38PM Nwickman...LOL. McCain will win...American people are not stupid? Sadly, your comments basically refute your own statement. Stupid doesn't even recognize itself. LOL.
