StashCard for your Laptop {Gadling}
Apr 11th 2007 1:11PM It's not daft. Clearly you haven't had to deal with Congolese customs officials (thieves) that search almost every nook and cranny on your person and your belongings looking for $USD. However, they usually don't open the lid of your laptop (my favorite hiding spot) and they certainly wouldn't be clever enough to push the eject button to eject this card. It's smart if used for the right reason.

Researchers split on the risks of being somewhat overweight {That's Fit}
Aug 24th 2006 11:06AM According to the experts, I should weigh a maximum of 175lbs for my height. I'm currently weighing in at 200lbs, after losing 75lbs. If I get down to 175 I will be a stick figure. I'm going for a goal weight of 185-190. I will still be overweight according to the experts but I doubt it in actuality.

Aug 24th 2006 11:03AM Tried it... It didn't quite work out as planned. Actually, I was happy before marriage, got married, got depressed, got divorced, got happy again! :-)

Scams {Gadling}
Aug 11th 2006 10:34AM Yea, they pulled the same scam on me in Moscow, right on Red Square. They didn't actually get me, but they did manage to swindle my mobile during the fray. Damn Bastards!
Africa Travel: Egypt {Gadling}
Feb 14th 2006 12:51AM A couple of things I failed to mention... I spent most of my time in Cairo and the people there were extremely polite and friendly. I was fortunate enough to have lunch at the home of one of our Egyptian employees (that was different, interesting, strange, eye-opening, etc..) but all in all I thought Cairo was a very interesting city and I felt relatively safe there. Until someone bombed the museum and 2 chicks shot up a bus full of tourists. That's when I left.
