Passenger too sexy for Southwest Airlines (LUV): Miniskirt gets waitress tossed {BloggingStocks}

Sep 14th 2007 12:21AM Hey everyone, give Ebbert a break, maybe she lost her panties and didn't know it...lol Actually, I was at a major airport once and some lady lost her undies, they were lying there in the walkway! Of course no one touched them, everyone just walked around them. Or, maybe Ebbert was wearing crotchless panties, that would resolve the panty/no panty debate….lol

Sep 11th 2007 9:56PM Follow-up on #601: I've been on international flights where the flight attendants handed out socks which I've always found amusing since most people wear socks...oh well. To avoid future problems from commando women with short skirts, seems that SWA could handout women's panties with their logo and address this way the panties could be easily returned if lost or found....lol...:)))

Sep 11th 2007 9:38PM Hey...SWA should start selling panties for $5 a pair, this way they can be sure no one will get offended by accidentally seeing a vagina on board! I can just hear it now ...'softdrinks, panties, water, coffee, peanuts, beer...'....lol

Sep 10th 2007 1:11PM Hmmm....I went to a large fundamental church recently which had auditorium seating. A 30ish attractive gal came in wearing a very similar outfit as Ebbert's and I don't think she was anything under that short skirt! And, on another Sunday, I went to a nice restaurant for lunch afterwards. In came two attractive middle aged women (late 50s) which sat down in the waiting area. I think they had just left church also. One of them wore a nice dress with a slit down the front and her underwear was easily visible by anyone..go figure. While in college, I worked at a full-service gas station and I the women customers were always so much fun. I saw EVERYTHING during that job! Unfortunately, the job didn't pay much, but the visual perks were awesome...:). I don't think what Ebbert did was that unusual but a few people focused on it and now it has become a national issue.

Sep 9th 2007 12:01AM Hmmm...suppose SW Airlines and Hooter's Airlines are planning to merge? Wouldn't this incident with Ms. Ebbert be a great attention grabber.

Sep 8th 2007 11:34PM That's over 21 million American women normally running around without panties! Ms. Ebbert is probably not all that unusual. (based on 2000 census)

Sep 8th 2007 10:47PM I read a report indicating that approximately 15% of American women don't wear panties normally. Here are more historical tidbits: women didn't start wearing panties in mass until the second half of the 18th century. Prior to then, women didn't wear panties. So, from the landings of the Spaniards, French and British in America between 1492 - 1515 through the 1850's+, American women didn't wear panties. Now you'll see some historical figures in a new light...:)

Sep 8th 2007 6:28PM If airlines want to boost revenues dramatically, all they have to do is spice up their flight attendants (younger, more fit, beautiful, more revealing outfits, nicer, friendlier, more helpful, etc.) and have more lovely customers like Ms. Ebbert. If the airlines do this, they'll have more business then they can dream of. Basically, its so nice when a lovely gal is seen on flight these days. I just wish I had been on the SW flight that Ebbert was on.

Sep 8th 2007 5:30PM I fly frequently all over the US and internationally and I'm perplexed. What was wrong with Ebbert's attire? What was visible that was so objectionable? Even if she wasn't wearing panties, who's business was it to be looking up/down there? In 2004, I traveled on business to a Scandinavian country. As I boarded the Nordic plane, I noticed a very beautiful woman seated at the bulkhead row 1 with her blouse and bra completely unbuttoned and her beautiful busoms fully exposed! As an American, I'm shocked, but then I noticed that she was preparing to breast feed her baby. It was all beautiful, natural and normal. No one complained, it was just normal. I could only imagine if that had happened in America...mercy! The FBI, TSA and other authorities would have been called, the woman and her bady both handcuffed and arrested, the mother strip searched, the airport locked down, everyone running around in fear, and the TV programs running wild with the story, and on and on. In Ebbert's case, my guess is that the complaining passenger was an inexperienced traveler and SW had to respond to avoid more problems. Our society needs to grow up.

Apr 20th 2006 12:36AM In Texas, there is an old law that allows a woman to go naked in public but not a man. However, if someone complains to the authorities, then the woman must cover up. About 1999, in downtown San Antonio, Texas, this law was tested by a beautiful woman willing to go naked (except for her shoes). Observers were interviewed by the one of the local TV stations and the men thought it was great. The women did't seem to object but weren't sure about it. Eventually, a puritan surfaced and complained and police came and required the woman to cover up. The law is still in the books.
