Jan 17th 2011 10:02PM The safest way to handle traffic and cheaper on the gas tank is the roundabout. I learned to like them in UK, and the eastcoast. They have tried them in other areas in the US, but, Americans are too selfish for them to work properly. Even with arrows painted in the ,streets many refuse to use them as designed. But there are no left turns involved ,no gas wasting redlights and traffic moves very well when the roundabouts are used correctly.

Nov 7th 2010 9:32PM Why are you blaming the woman....she had twins after the pre-nupt was signed...as the story said, the changes that were made were for the children, not the mother....believe me if there had been no pre-nupt she would have received a lot more..california is a state where everything is 50/50, and she did not get anywhere near that... and as for her staying around after December, she had to wait for the divorce, but never did I see they were living together....I mean they were not even in the same room at the hotel....
People need to read more carefully...he has to take care of the children, and I do think it says the extra money stops when the children are 18.

A business, what ever it is does not have to bow to a person wanting to control something he cannot...I do not like United, however no matter how unhappy they made me, I never felt I could do anything but use another airlines,,,,,no wonder our courts are a joke...even letting a suit like this into court is wrong.
The airlines are a business and being such they do not have to run the airlines as some lawyer wants them too. As long as the plane leaves the ground and takes the passenger to a destination safely, that is all the airlines owes the passenger. They do not have to run it as someone else wants...this is still a free country for now and if you do not like what one business is doing, go elsewhere for your services.

Sep 22nd 2010 1:10AM bEING JUDGEMENTAL OF OTHERS WHO HAVE TO TAKE CARE OF THEMSELVES AFTER RETIREMENT IS NOT FAIR....HER MOTHER TRIED TO HELP AND IT SEEMS TO HAVE GOTTEN WORSE, SO THE DAUGHTER AND HER HUSBAND SPENT ALL THE FAMILY AND FRIENDS LENT THEM OR GAVE THEM AND THEY STILL ARE IN TROUBLE, LOST A MOTORHOME, SO THE MONEY THE FAMILY AND FRIENDS WAS LIKE POURING IT IN THE WIND. SOME PEOPLE DO NOT KNOW HOW TO TAKE CARE OF WHAT THEY HAVE, AND WHEN THEY LOST THE MOTORHOME THEY SHOULD HAVE SOLD THE VACATION HOME TO GET THEMSELVES OUT OF THE MESS, NOT GO BEGGING AND GETTING MAD AT OTHERS. THESE PEOPLE ARE SELFISH AND SHOULD CONSIDER THAT THE MOTHER NEEDS TO PROVIDE FOR HERSELF IN HER RETIREMENT.
I BELIEVE WHEN SOMEONE HAS A HEALTH OR MONEY PROBLEM THAT WAS NOT CAUSED BY THEIR OWN DUMB BEHAVIOUR, THAT THEY NEED SOME HELP, BUT I WATCHED MY SISTER, WHO WAS A WIDOW WITH VERY LITTLE RETIREMENT HAND OUT MONEY EVERY WEEK TO HER DAUGHTER AND FAMILY...I ASKED WHY WHEN SHE DID NOT HAVE ENOUGH TO TAKE CARE OF HERSELF DID SHE GIVE THEM MONEY ALL THE TIME. HER ANSWER WAS, THEY NEED IT FOR DIAPERS AND FORMULA. AND I POINTED OUT THE FACT THAT SHE WAS ENABLEING THEM BY DOING THAT, BECAUSE THEY SPENT THEIR MONEY ON BEER, WINE, WHISKEY AND SMOKING, TWO OF THEM SMOKED 2 CARTONS A WEEK, AND WHEN THEIR MONEY WAS GONE THEY WENT TO GRANDMA AS THEY KNEW SHE WOULD GIVE IT TO THEM. LO AND BEHOLD , WHEN SHE TOLD THEM SHE WAS NOT GOING TO ENABLE THEM ANYMORE THEY STOPPED ASKING FOR MONEY.

Aug 20th 2010 12:59PM I agree with you the only thing I would add is if the bathroom is dirty, go elsewhere as well. In our travels we have noticed the shoddy cleaning of the bathrooms. One place we used to stop near Magic Mountain on our trips was very clean when we first started, then about 3 years into our stopping there we noticed a sharp drop in the cleaning of the bathrooms..the last night we stopped there we witnessed the person cleaning the bathrooms with the dirty greasy water he had just used to clean the kitchen. The water was black, and there was no disinfectant in it. we left and never went back there, and we did notice on a subsequent thru the area that the place was finally closed down, probably by the head office of the chain.
