World's Longest Golf Course is Planned for Australian Desert {Gadling}

Sep 29th 2007 7:25AM hello from down under - or is that up over? there aren't too many restaurants or motels out there - tis the outback man! hundreds of kms between any signs of life, you can travel all day and only see 1 or 2 other vehicles. the course is a great idea though, being a desert course means lots of sand traps and definately no water. as for the accommodation - grab a swag and sleep under a couple of million stars - the most amazing night scenery you will ever see.
