The Best Hostels to Get Wasted In {Gadling}
Sep 27th 2007 2:38PM AH, hostels... you have to love them! I traveled abroad the first semester of my senior year of college. I went to a rinky dink college, Westminster, in New Wilmington, PA... and went all the way over to Oxford, England. While there, I stayed in many a hostel... a few in Italy, one in Spain, one in Paris... but the best I found was the one right in Oxford! Since we were there for 3 months, we had host families that we lived with, but at one point, a few friends came to visit and we bunked with them at the Central Backpackers Hostel in Oxford http://www.centralbackpackers.co.uk/index.php and had a remarkable time. We drank good old fashioned cider before going out to our favorite underground club in Oxford, the Purple Turtle. After our crazy night out, we went back to the hostel and the party didn't stop. Just remember, a hostel experience is what you make of it, you can have fun anywhere!! :) (Makes me want to go back...)
Geauga Lake Amusement Park Bites the Dust {Gadling}
Sep 26th 2007 4:49PM I remember going to Geauga Lake when I was little. It has that old time amusement park feel and I loved it.
