Nun Excommunicated For Abortion Decision To Save Mother's Life {Politics Daily}
May 22nd 2010 6:05PM Who cares if the RC church is called right or left swinging? The issue is the absolute hypocrisy of said church. The nun couldn't "play God" to save a life in a critical medical situation (and can be "reinstated", if that's the term, simply by confessing her "sins"...very convenient; sort of like a do over on the playground), but the bishop/archbishop, whoever, is allowed to murder the mother because a bunch of old white men in dresses think they have a direct line to God? hmmmmmmmm
It's a Girl for Heidi Klum and Seal {PopEater}
Oct 13th 2009 1:43PM I LOVE Heidi Klum; Seal, not so much! He always seems to be walking a step in front of her and not on the outside. Seems picky, but as a Britisher, the etiqiette should have been instilled at an early age, and I just see her caring far more for him than he for her. I hope I'm wrong, and that they live a long, happy life together w/their kids. And Lou is a great name!
Vick Continues on Road to Redemption {Fanhouse - Kevin Blackistone}
Aug 28th 2009 2:16PM The only folks with less of a moral compass than Michael Vick in this situation are the people defending him. This isn't about football or second chances or paying a debt to society. It's about subhuman mentality.
Allison Iraheta Is Voted Off 'American Idol' {AOL TV: American Idol}
May 7th 2009 10:54AM Rock is definitely my genre of choice, and Janis Joplin was one of the best; to see a 17 year old do it so well and still be sent home is disappointing. I like all 4 contestants but definitely felt Kris was the weakest. The comment about 10 year old girls voting for the "cute guy" is probably right on this week.
The Most Irritating Phrases in the English Language {Lemondrop}
Nov 22nd 2008 11:40AM I agree with most of the above, but the response, "no problem" to a thank you is the ones that sets my teeth on edge.
America's Next Top Model: The Girl Who Becomes America's Next Top Model (season finale) {AOL TV}
May 17th 2007 1:06PM I had worked all day...seen my husband off on a golf vacation with my older son; settled the dogs in after a long walk, and sat down to enjoy my weekly guilty pleasure...ANTM...when, at exactly 8pm, The CW lost signal for the rest of the night in our area. This isn't the first time it's happened during Model hour, but certainly the most frustrating. Of course, I now know the outcome, and hopefully I'll see the replay on Sunday, but I can't believe whoever is responsible let this happen during finale night. Hope Model finds a new network that is more reliable. I am glad Jaslene won, although I also like Natasha. Renee was old, as another viewer said, because of her mean spirited attitude. The other 2 girls were model worthy AND nice.
Desperate Housewives: Remember (finale) {AOL TV}
May 22nd 2006 12:46PM Have the same questions as everyone about Nora vs the wine woman, Orson vs Mike, but most esp, where was Edie?
Desperate Housewives or Grey's Anatomy: Who should move? {AOL TV}
Apr 18th 2006 3:50PM I wouldn't watch Gray's Anatomy no matter where ABC put it because it bumped my favorite, Boston Legal! I think it's a mistake to move any popular show from the time slot that the fans have "voted" on via the ratings.
