Catholic Pilgrims Get Lost Using GPS in France {AOL Travel News}

Aug 4th 2010 10:29PM It's got nothing to do with religion. It just proves that "stupid" and "inept" transcend national borders.

U.K. Treasury Pulls Interactive Site Due to Bizarre User Suggestions, Racist Rants {Switched}

Jul 22nd 2010 3:16PM Our neighbors across the pond seem to have discovered, as we have here, that there has been a gradual degeneration of the minds of the people who post negative comments. Believing they are free of all restraints, these crazies are trying to dominate the ethernet with ugliness and racism, betraying themselves for who they are. A pity.

Sarah Palin Wants Levi Johnston To Disappear {PopEater}

Jul 15th 2010 3:18PM Don't believe for a minute that any of this new hoopla is anything but totally controlled by Ms Palin, herself (and scripted, most likely, by her speechwriter), in order to keep that name-recognition thing of hers going until 2012 at the polls.

Cancer patient loses coverage over a penny {WalletPop}

Jul 15th 2010 3:12PM Medical insurance companies and their intermediaries ought not to be surprised at the virulence of the responses from the public. They ought to know that, instead of the benificent medical providers they think they are, the public perceives them as medical payment deniers and underpayers in order to boost their own bottom lines - and for good reason. They are, indeed, the bad guys, and they deserve all the negative press that can be heaped upon them!

Tattoo Regret -- The Typo {Asylum}

Jul 9th 2010 5:05PM Actually, the best thing to do to prevent a tattoo error is to not pay some so-called "artist" to permanently disfigure your body in the first place. How third world can you get! (Go ahead and rant all you want, you inked-up lowlifes; I won't be reading your replies, anyway.)

Wondering 'Why...'? {AOL Hot Searches}

Jun 28th 2010 7:14AM Most ten year-olds of my generation could have answered most of those questions. Our educational system and our work ethic are so shot to hell that we can now have a television program called, "Are you smarter than a fifth-grader?" (Even the title is inaccurate; it should be, "Are you better educated than a fifth grader?") Either way, sadly, most folks aren't, anymore.

Harrison Ford and Calista Flockhart's Wedding: He Wore Jeans, Her Son Was Ring Bearer {PopEater}

Jun 24th 2010 10:06AM Wow, I guess I truly am getting old. Of the 110 happy folks described in the gallery, I knew the names and/or faces of only ten. True, I've got better things to do than keep up with the celebrity world, but I sometimes feel like I've been thrust into a strange future time (or onto another planet). Don't laugh, kiddies; it'll happen to you, too.

New York City Women Give Up Sex (When They Tire of Whoring Out) {Asylum}

Jun 19th 2010 8:25PM Yeah, yeah, yeah; I would try to give up sex, too, but my right hand might do something drastic, like take me to court or maybe even stab me. Not worth it.

A Green Lamp That Lives and Breathes {Rented Spaces}

Jun 19th 2010 8:19PM Actually, it's possible to use the chemical energy available in composting bacteria to produce light. Here's what you do: 1. Invert a large funnel over the seat opening in an outhouse. 2. Attach a rubber or plastic tube to connect the small end of the funnel to a metal gas-burning device (similar to a bunsen burner) in your house. Then it's a simple matter to ignite the methane and other flammable gases at the burner. The addition of a glass chimney will make the light brighter and more attractive. How to spend the Nobel money is my problem, and getting rid of the smell is yours.

Drive This House {Shelterpop}

Jun 19th 2010 7:52PM The neighbors are quite right to be annoyed at the monstrosity. But the target of their wrath should not be the owner of the abomination, but rather the members of the local buildings department or town council or whoever issues building permits and certificates of occupancy. THOSE are the people who let it happen and who need to have their priorities strenuously rearranged!
