I think that applies just as well to New York, Toronto, or an other densely populated, busy place.

Sep 22nd 2007 9:58AM Dude, there is no such thing as a "little casual sex." It's either intercourse or it isn't and it most certainly does hurt people! HPV causes not only genital warts but has also been proved to cause cervical cancer, HIV causes AIDS and eventually death, Syphilis eats your brain and blinds infants born to those who have it and that's just the tip of the iceberg of STDs. Not to mention unintended pregnancies and all the pain they can lead to.
As for a "little alcohol" -- my aunt was killed by someone who no doubt thought a little alcohol wouldn't hurt anyone.
I enjoy your posts about Japan; I lived there myself for three years. I'm just sorry my first comment comes across so Puritanical but "harmless" casual sex and alcohol is something I can't let pass quietly.
