Joe the Plumber: McCain Used Me {Politics Daily}
Feb 15th 2010 6:43PM So he's whining that he was being used. Is he the only one in America that didn't know it?
The New Mortgage Revolution: Walk Away {Housingwatch}
Jan 26th 2010 11:01AM I agree that the borrower has more responsibility in these situations than this article implies.
I suggest that the problem also involves the credit card issue.
Many people that would normally be able to scrape by on the mortgage payments are being hamstrung by escalating credit card rates. Remember that a few years before the sub prime fiasco Bush signed a law making it more difficult to declare personal bankrupcy.
Now, the scenario is - difficulty making mortgage payment, turn to credit cards to make up the shortfall in household operation expenses, get hit with minimum payment increase by credit card companies trying to rape you before the credit card rate limit law goes into effect.
Glenn Beck Boycott: Censorship or Good Citizenship? {Politics Daily}
Aug 19th 2009 3:23PM Well written article with the exception of the term "attmpted censorship." Censorship is when the GOVERMENT shuts down the media.
Letterman Owes Palin, Flight Attendants, Women in General an Apology {Politics Daily}
Jun 11th 2009 12:27PM Ha! Once again Dave is hilarious.
She's the one that takes herself too seriously when,in fact, her 15 minutes fled as soon as McCain conceded. No, Sarah, I didn't just call you conceited. Buy a dictionary will you?
She deserves to be made fun of. Even though Dave's unique brand of humor will likely get him in dutch with feminists and conservatives, he should keep it up, It makes the rest of us laugh.
'Footloose' Cast: Where Are They Now? {Moviefone Blog}
Apr 16th 2009 12:24PM I last saw Chris Penn in Rush hour. Unrecognizably portly in that film. He was selling something out of his car trunk and talking to Chris Tucker if I recall correc tly.
He was also in The Pale Rider.
Cheney 'Furious' Bush Didn't Pardon Libby {Politics Daily}
Feb 17th 2009 9:54AM TO DB:
I have to respectfully disagree with your comment that Bush may been "unwittingly duped". As President you aren't afforded certain luxuries, making ill informed decisions is one of them. A president has to be more thoughtful and yet more decisive than the average person. Likewise his country needs him to be more ethical, reasonable and to have excellent judgement. To say he made an error in judgement when attacking Iraq, not properly responding to Katrina, calling Iran part of the axis of evil weeks after they offered an olive branch by offering to help us right after 9-11, all these things would be unthinkable to any president that holds himself to the standards required of that office.
Eddie Van Halen Considering New Tunes With David Lee Roth {Spinner}
Feb 4th 2009 2:17PM Michael Anthony's harmonies with Eddie were a big part of their earlier sound. I don't think they will recapture their sigature sound of the 70s without him.
I miss that cat.
Palin's $180,000 Wardrobe Stuffed in Trash Bags, Not Donated {Stylelist}
Jan 27th 2009 11:11AM I like Barack, not because I am a Liberal, I am not, but for a notion that can be summed up in three simple words: Pragmatism, not dogmatism.
Sarah looks good on TV. Shallow, vapid viewers embrace her on that basis and THEN try to find ideas to shore up her image. Sarah is stuck believing her own hype because she is that clueless. She suffers from a sin worse than looking bad on American TV, call her sin....um, self deceptive, autogullibility.
Being a good debater is not a good substitute for judgement. She has none and should be relegated to the relative obscurity that is her destiny.
Is Obama Really President After Oath Flub? {Politics Daily}
Jan 21st 2009 10:06AM I also knew as soon as I read the headlines that it would be FOX news. However, I mistakenly thought it would be Rupert Murdoch's simpering synophant-in-Chief - Bill O'Reilly.
Sarah Palin Shrieks at the Sight of Keith Olbermann {Politics Daily}
Jan 9th 2009 3:57PM I used to vote to support the party, even if I didn't like the candidate. Now, however, I vote for the candidate that is the smartest, most articulate, and has the best judgement. Barak wins on all fronts.
I was a Republican but am not happy with the way things are in our country. My loyalty lies with AMERICA not the President.
BTW, Palin sounded like she was running for PTA president or something. Where other candidates reeled off a list of accomplishments, she sounded like she was reciting a rather weak resume.
Olbermnan rocks out. Anyone that can skewer that circus show freak Ann Coulter so perfectly is my buddy.
