Strolling through the airport just got more exciting with the new musical floor {Gadling}

Jan 16th 2012 4:51PM Somewhere there is a travel department that specializes in ways to make air travel even more misreable than it is already. This has got to be one of their finest efforts!

Alexander Calder Mobile Is Second Highest Antiques Roadshow Appraisal {Luxist}

Jan 7th 2011 2:00AM This is some kind of joke, right?

People Admire Bill Gates More Than the Dalai Lama, Pope, Glenn Beck {Switched}

Dec 29th 2010 1:06PM @pd39... Did you really just say that wit a straight face? Amazing....

Dave Niehaus, Seattle Mariners' Hall of Fame Announcer, Dies at 75 {Fanhouse MLB Blog}

Nov 11th 2010 6:46PM I'm not a baseball fan, or a sports fan at all, for that matter, but I LOVED listening to Dave Niehaus while driving home from work. Not only his enthusiasm, which was apparent, but the poetic way he painted a picture with words. And the fact that he was a true gentleman, honest but respectful. The world needs more people like him, and I don't mean just in sports!

Some flight attendants worse than drunk passengers says survey {Gadling}

Aug 23rd 2010 8:12PM I fly about 75000 miles a year, and I have to say that the VAST majority of flight attendants are very professional and courteous. Yes, I have seen bad ones, but they are very much in the minority. I have to admit, I find myself getting angry while flying, but it's not at the attendants...it's at the ridiculous policies of the FAA, the airlines and the TSA. I'm convinced there is a department dedicated to make flying miserable...but I don't blame the flight attendants!

Architectural Wonders of the United States {AOL Travel News}

Jun 23rd 2010 5:42PM Once again, I am baffled as to why anyone lets Frank Gehry design anything, much less public buildings. I live in Seattle, where we have the embarrassing Experience Music Project...more proof, as if it were needed, that money does not equal taste.

Spirit Airlines to abolish reclining seats {Gadling}

Apr 22nd 2010 3:45PM I fly over 50,000 miles a year, and I will not fly Spirit or Southworst. Come on, folks! Price is not the only consideration when buying something... that's why things like Customer Service and Product Quality have taken a nose-dive. I'd rather pay a little bit more and get treated like a valued customer than just another cheap jerk to be taken advantage of!

Whole Foods Offers Steeper Discounts to Leaner Employees {Slashfood}

Jan 29th 2010 4:52PM Another nanny company, interfering with peoples lives "for their own good". I'm done shopping at Whole Foods...

ABC Stops Production on 'FlashForward': Is It in Trouble? {Inside TV Blog}

Nov 24th 2009 7:35PM I started watching but rapidly lost interest. But that's beside the point...I bet a lot of people are like me, who NEVER watch a network show when it's broadcast, but record everything. I only watch recorded shows so I don't have to sit through the brain-killing commercials. And the networks of course realize that the DVR is their deadly enemy, so mentioning that a show has a good DVR audience is not helping it. It'll probably kill it faster!

Megan Who? Kate's Esquire's 'Sexiest' {PopEater}

Oct 3rd 2009 3:50AM I fell in love with Kate Beckinsale after watching Serendipity, and again in Holiday. She's absolutely gorgeous, and seems to have some class. She's got my vote over Fox, hands downs!
