Nov 29th 2009 12:00AM No one is saying he got special treatment--he's just smarter then the average bear and decided to exercise his rights. I wouldn't be any different then Woods. Good for him and his legal advisor. Do you think if this was anyone else that the wizards at FHP would be involved? I not a fan of Woods but this whole thing with FHP playing the Nazi storm trooper is incredible.

Nov 28th 2009 11:56PM Hey Sidney251--Do you not know what your constitutional rights, are and how to properly exercise your rights? This is AMERICA the last time I checked, or at least for the time being it's a free country. This is a minor case in a gated community. If the cops came to my house demanding BS, I'd have the lawyer serve them papers and tell them if they don't have a warrant and insufficient evidence to obtain one--LEAVE, and don't come back on the property or I'll have their jobs!!!

Nov 28th 2009 11:50PM Incredible how people come to the conclusion that you are obligated to answer to these FHP guys. All you are required to do is show a drivers license, insurance and a registration. FHP do Hwy investigations and do no criminal investigations other then motor vehicle accidents and related investigations to the accident. Woods case DOES NOT require any further investigation at this time.

Get real and do some police work for a change. Incredible how these guys think they can bully Woods-please, give me a break--FHP. I'd have a lawyer call and laugh at these FHP guys--I wish to exercise my right to remain silent--thank you. Christ someone can have a little minor accident in a parking lot and these wizards want to issue a summons like they get a commission or something. I love when I get calls from the FHP asking for donations--OK, sure, I'll have it in the mail.

Nov 28th 2009 1:34PM The Florida Hwy Patrol wasn't there when the accident occurred, no one but Tiger was hurt, and no one is forced to incriminate themselves and you have the right to remain silent!!! Tell the arrogant, nasty, useless, wanna be cops to take a hike. All the FHP is doing is sticking their noses into something that they don't need too----let them go out and do some other work.
If they didn't find the need to arrest him on the scene-oh well, GOODBYE Mr Hwy Patrol

Feb 21st 2009 11:04AM Only reason I'm against just giving the Scouts the donation at the time of the cookie sales is that someone in the troop will take the donation and buy the ridiculously priced cookies anyway. If a donation is made-it's supposed to go directly to THAT Troop. The GS Hdqtrs isn't a fan of that because some nicely paid executives in GS Hdqtrs doesn't get theirs.

Feb 21st 2009 10:59AM It's a disgrace and a scam. No one could tell me that the cookie companies aren't just outrigt gouging. Both my girls were girlscouts and it's disgusting how much the Baker rips off the scouts. Those boxes of cookies can't cost the baker more then a quarter to make, and maybe with the packaging box and all, maybe 50 cents. Try going to another company and I'm sure they'd be more than willing to work with the Girlscouts. You can go into numerous different stores and get assorted cookies for under a dollar with 5 X's the amount of cookies.
