Ted Williams' Story Obscures True Plight Faced by Homeless {Fanhouse NBA Blog}
Jan 7th 2011 8:13PM Dear Pat McManamon :
Have you finished your article on why the winners of Tuesday's Megamillion lottery are unworthy of it and the list of others in the USA who deserve it more??? What a cynical, mean-spirited S.O.B. you are! With your mindset, everyone who "gets lucky" must decline or return their good fortune in order to be "fair" to all those not so blessed.
I hope the man with the Golden Voice enjoys his moments of popularity and I pray that he finds permanent employment to his liking, whether any of the other uneemployed - including me - get one or not.

How to deal with jetlag {Gadling}
Dec 30th 2009 11:19AM No one mentioned using Melatonin as an aid to adjusting to different time zones. A close friend is a retired Delta pilot and told me about Melatonin being used for a few decades by flight crews. I use it regularly just as a sleep aid. If you arrive at a flight destination which has a local time of 11 PM but your body thinks it is still in a much earlier time zone, a tiny pill of Melatonin "fools" your body into thinking it is "bedtime" and you can snooze away - but only if you choose to. By that I mean, unlike a true sleeping pill, Melatonin can be "overridden" should you get an unexpected invite to a party. Few people report any side or after effects.

New York Auto Show: Jeep Wrangler Unlimited grows another set of doors {Autoblog}
Apr 13th 2006 12:45PM I like it, and I think it will sell - albeit to a limited market - IF Jeep keeps the base price around $20K and doesn't edge too much higher. Wrangler was never meant to be a vehicle to appeal to all, and the blog postings show that. If Jeep will always keep a short wheelbase model with up-to-date refinements, the off-raod crowd should be OK with it, but I DO like the current longer 2-door model. When can I put my windshield down??? Is it still possible on the new ones? It's illegal on-road in California. Killjoys!
