Mar 1st 2010 5:02PM I'VE GOT IT! Stop keeping score. That way everyone wins! I'm a Steelers fan. We lost 5 games in OT last season. But, that's the way it goes. If teams played better, they wouldn't be in OT. Can't blame the fact that the offense never got the ball. Win or lose, it's up to the team, not a coin toss.

Mar 1st 2010 4:35PM So, does this mean every team gets the ball an equal number of times? Why not just give each offense the ball alternately 10 times? Kinda sounds like baseball. If you want to win, your defense needs to step up. Remember a couple of years ago, when Seattle and Green Bay went to overtime (I think it was the playoffs)? Seattle won the toss. The referee turned to (I think) Matt Hasselbeck and he said "We want the ball! We're gonna score!" Green Bay's defense shut them down and the Packers won the game.
As far as the hockey game goes, the NFL's sudden death overtime parallels hockey's OT rules. You play until someone scores. Very simple. The simplest ways are usually the best.

Feb 19th 2010 11:48AM Why do you think she left the US so quickly? A friend of mine drove his car into a tree at 50mph without a seatbelt. He was essentially uninjured. Tiger looked beat up. Way too beaten up for someone involved in what amounts to be a minor fender bender. She beat his ass. Worried about reprecussions, she then carried her ass. She ran to another country and hid - like a guilty criminal hiding from the law.
