Mar 31st 2010 1:25AM I guess a lot depends on what your field or profession is. As a (mostly) Classical musician, being respectful of one's colleagues is important, although one can be respectful but demanding when in a leadership position. As long as one does not treat one's colleagues disrespectfully, one can make demands on them that show respect for the "product" without having to resort to humiliating and belittling tactics. One gets results by example rather than intimidation. In other words, one can be a "nice guy" without being a wimp, and one's colleagues respect that.

Bush the President until last year? Hmm. I guess I need to get my history straight). Thank God for a President who at least has the concerns of the average American at heart.

I think there are far more important issues on his plate that need addressing other than placating a bunch of kids raised to feel they're entitled to anything they want. I think the "disrespect" (yes, it is a word, Rapture - you need a new dictionary) is running the other way.
