Jan 10th 2010 11:23AM OK, someone help me understand what was wrong about the statement. It wasn't a slur, President Obama IS a light-skinned black man, (many friends that are black discuss the different color ranges) In public, he doesn't use the black dialect. Perhaps he speaks differently off camera but all that we see, his diction and verbiage aren't that of most young black folks today. (again, many black friends freely admit, that they talk differently with white friends and black friends)
