Feb 19th 2010 10:59AM It most certainly is unusual to have a baby taking even two steps on his own at six months of age.
My son could take several steps at nine months and, therefore, I could say he walked at nine months; however, nine months, ten months, eleven months and so on are nothing phenomenal. A six-month old infant walking is not the norm so none of us can compare (unless your kid walked at six months, too).

Feb 11th 2010 8:26PM I had always liked the name, "Madison" and had it in the back of my mind should I ever give birth to a daughter. That is, until the day my sister remarked that all the kids on the playground would be calling her "Medicine." Even so, I still liked the name and remained loyal to my original plan of giving that name to a future daughter.
Well, any more notions of naming a baby girl, "Madison," were quickly dispelled when I met the man whom I eventually married. His last name is "Mahon" (pronounced "Man") which means "Madison Mahon" would no doubt become "Medicine Man" to all those jokesters on the playground.

Oct 16th 2009 4:08AM I think I'll save my money. The fact that AOL is hawking this movie on the web makes me wonder just how "scary" it really is.
If you want paranormal and scary, the t.v. show, "A Haunting" will give you that and more. Each episode is (supposedly) a re-enactment of a true story/haunting. I think it's by far the best paranormal show out there, including those ghost buster-type shows.

Oct 1st 2009 3:35PM The bottom line seems to suggest something else to me: That all of them were smart enough to know that "college " does not always correlate with " future earnings." College in and of itself is big business.
Gates and others like him worked hard; all of them had marketable skills that they honed and ultimately used to their advantage, and college had nothing at all to do with each one's super-successful career.

Mar 30th 2009 11:06PM Of course they cancelled it. The show had nothing to do with pedophilia, the paranormal, sex change surgery, pornography, prostitutes, homicide victims, serial killers or what it's like to have a zillion kids and counting, all of which represent the current viewer trends.
If people would STOP watching some of the above garbage, then maybe the quality programs would actually stay on the air for more than a season.
