Testy GOP, Heckler Confront Obama on Immigration, Energy, Gay Rights {Politics Daily}

May 26th 2010 5:50PM Wow, I read some of the comments here. Here is some eye opening facts.
The GOP has done everything to be difficult to get things done. It never used to be that way, it's now a game to them, and they will use that and twist it into any perception they think will work.

So, if anyone really does their homework on politics, and not just what is happening now, they may quit whinning, and start trying to be a "solution orientanted" citizen, rather then someone who does nothing but complain.

Marie Osmond Returns to Vegas Stage After Son's Funeral {PopEater}

Mar 11th 2010 12:33PM For those of you who jump to conclusions, it is important to know that know matter who you are, you still have to find a way to cope. Everyone grieves in a entirely different way. It also sounds like Marie want to sing to him - or for him as well. That must have been very hard, but beautiful.

Many of you who have never had to go through something like this, or who do not understand that we all do not react the same way after a loss such as this, and quite honestly- you do whatever you can, and you do as much as you can to cope. Please stand back a little from your harsh emotional reactions. Some of you react to her performing as though it is a personal insult to you. It isn't yours to own - it happened to her, and her family.

A New Survivor Show: Watching a Week of Cable News and Living to Tell {Politics Daily}

Jan 14th 2010 12:45PM Some of these comments are just like watching some of these people on cable news.

'Bachelor' Jake Says Getting Cheated on 'Sucks,' but Who Is He to Talk? {PopEater}

Jan 13th 2010 7:10AM This is just too funny. "Getting cheated on sucks" and I have 25 women I am dating...

No violins from this corner, only giggles.

Harry Reid Shouldn't Have Said It Out Loud, but How Many Think It? {Politics Daily}

Jan 11th 2010 8:31AM I hate to say this, but obviously this is just a Republican OR Democratic issue, this is an American issue. Period.

I am hoping for the day were people will be more decent in thoughts and deeds. I would rather this race thing wasn't such a beast. Hopefully, were will be in that place sooner, rather then later. people can be so goofy.

Rep. Peter King: Why Was Known Terror Suspect Allowed to Fly? {Politics Daily}

Dec 26th 2009 10:58AM Some of you have turned this into a President issue. look! This guy tried to blow up himself and every person on that plane. We should be talking about what we think should be done about security. It's okay to be with one political party or the other - just don't get so nuts about it that you cannot think reasonably. We should be all upset that this happened, but pointing the finger at this or that president is really pointless in this situation.

There are some security measures that are being used right now in the US that is - my opinion, dumb. While there are others I truely understand. Further more - we shouldn't allow any liquid or powder substance on the plane (no matter how small) and should go back to that rule. There is no reason someone needs to have hairspray,perfume, lotion or powder on a plane. No one is going to die without use of it, right?

I know this list of possible and real terrorist is long. Is there some way to have security division just for that list? What is available now for that?

My Big Fat Foreclosure {Housingwatch}

Dec 16th 2009 11:21AM I see that all the time! I only have a few extra pounds of fat on me, but muscle is the rest, but I work with plenty of different people.

I have one thing to say by some of these comments posted. I think people who think they have the corner on what weight means are a few thousand brain cells short. You think that's from using the cell phone too much, or not eating enough? What is it? I just be that could be used as a preexisting condition.

It is apparent that they are not reading the story and comprehending what happened, or don't want to, or perhaps they can't grasp why Greg presented his story.

Actually, he did a fine job with it and it just shows how intelligent and well mannered he is. There are those who just like to gripe for the sake of griping. How do you get rid of those employees? Seems like there are more then a few on here posting.

My Big Fat Foreclosure {Housingwatch}

Dec 16th 2009 11:06AM This is just really sad. The comments about Greg being too fat to do his job, or other unbelievable statements are truely off mark.

Look, some of you don't realize one thing. Greg not only did his job well for 7 or more years, he was good enough to gain senority.
Some of you would be fired from your job because you have a pre-existing thing called "just plain dumb". READ and THINK

He was not too fat. He must have had some muscle. If you are hurt on the job because you got up from your desk and you tripped on the box that someone else put on the floor - you would only be eligible. BUT
ANY doctor for the insurance company that works for the company you work for could tell you that it wasn't their fault because you are fair sighted. Now, you are injured and they can let you go and not give you any workers comp.

You could have been injured in anyway, and they can find any reason to make it your fault. Greg's instance was because he was big.
I know a few "bigger" people with plenty of smarts and muscle. They handle themselves just fine. Oh, they can think and read too.

My my. When I read some of the comments on here and how incredibly lacking they are - it makes me believe there arn't many qualified people out there. I will take a well presented, and "want to work" man of 275 pounds any day over "I don't think before I give an opinion" person.

Dec 16th 2009 10:55AM Paul - did you not read the story?

This guy worked for 7 years and did well. Anyone can get hurt in that type of job. The story said that it was the doctor hired from the airlines that made that statement. Obviously, he was too fat to do the job. He was doing it for some time. By that type of statement, the company had an avenue to let him go.

This has nothing to do with Greg's weight in real life. This has to do with what they did to him and how they did it.

He apparently had the muscle to do it for 7 years - eh? Now think of you throwing some luggage around and think of yourself in shape and then something happens, you report it as you are suppose to, and they don't give you workers comp to get the therapy or medical treatment and they just let you go from your job.

Get it? They just found something to get rid of him. It could have been for any reason.

My Big Fat Foreclosure {Housingwatch}

Dec 16th 2009 10:42AM Illegal? Are you kidding me? No, it's not illegal.

Look, if a company can blame the employee for anything, then they do not have to pay. It's not about being fair moral, it's about the money. And yes, it happens a lot, some do not say anything. Greg is relating a story about how he lost his home.

I think some people are just too angry at their own situation, that they cannot read and comprehend what this story really is about.
