Jan 24th 2013 9:14PM I prefer to fly SouthWest -- more relaxed, enjoyable and their flight attendants have a sense of humor. The atty I worked with would fly SWA over any other airline -- easier to change flights and because she traveled light (we'd overnight files, etc to her hotel and she would overnight them back to the office--I picked up that tip when an 80 plus woman told me that her son would fed ex her suitcase to wherever she was going and all she had to do was lock it up and slap the new return shipping slip on it and they'd pick it up and back to her home -- good idea huh? and can be sent on a cheaper basis ahead of time also.

Jan 22nd 2010 2:24PM Personally the dresses that really stood out for me were the 'classy' ones -- Sophia Loren's dress was gorgeous and so was she. My favorites were the gray-ish dress with simple lines of sparkle on it and the red 'sheath' dress (not sure who wore them -- I didn't bother to catch the names. But for me when all those fake breasts are hanging out of a dress it makes the dress and wearer look 'cheap'.

Jan 3rd 2008 11:47PM Sierra Summit -- a small ski area about an hour from Fresno CA has some great skiing for a small ski area -- and in the summer the lift runs for a great view -- there are some RV spots if that's your thing -- the views at sunrise and sunset during ski season can be amazing as you drive up above the fog that covers the Valley during the fall and often in the winter -- good ski instructors for the kids and newbies -- rooms at the Lodge itself are not fancy and often the bar has some good local singing musical talent. But when going skiing you get up early and go to bed early and there are quite a few private rentals for a couple of families to go together and rent in summer or winter -- make reservations if you're going to do that very early for t-giving or Christmas time. Sometimes the snow doesn't arrive until mid January -- just depends on the season - but the spring skiing can be great -- take lots of sunscreen!!

Aug 25th 2007 7:12PM I refuse to use any skincare that contains parabens or preservatives especially since I found the greatest one around--so great that it is now being difficult because it is on backorder -- but I bought 8 full sets when I had the chance and have 3 full sets left--no preservatives, no parabens, no perfumes, no colorants--wonderful products!! And I'm 59 next month and no one has any idea (and its not genetics every female in my fam has awful skin!! so you can email me at catbell7 and I'll tell ya about it!!

Apr 20th 2007 10:01AM 1-McD's is still frying and using hydrogenated (trans) fats which are the most unhealthy fat for the heart and body (lard is healthier)
2-researcher at University had had numerous articles printed on how dangerous hydrogenated fats are for the heart and body -- and statin drugs are dangerous also -- try reading Dr. Duane Gravenline (or Gravenstine's book and website on how bad those are for the body!
3-I've boycotted all the fast food junk food places for several years now because of their nasty practices. Eating low glycemic method and losing weight which realy has my annual physical doc amazed since I was having high blood sugars - now they're normal along with the cholesterol levels and blood pressure levels (with no MEDICATIONS) -- love a good rare steak!!

Apr 7th 2006 9:38AM well has anyone seen the articles about the high levels of benzene in sodas and other "kids beverages" such as sunny D and koolaid jammers?? I've been checking on that and European countries have been testing cans of the beverages for almost a year now --- the levels in the soda cans are higher in benzene than allowable in water -- nah when I stopped drinking diet sodas and poured them all out onto a gravel driveway they worked great to kill the weeds--better than any pesticide I had purchased to kill weeds......the ditch to the side of the driveway did not have a single weed for over a year .... the woman that bought the house called me to ask what weedkiller I had used - I told her big jugs of diet sodas .... so she's continued to use them as weedkiller too ....
