Newsweek, fighting for survival, drifts toward irrelevancy {Daily Finance}

Nov 16th 2009 4:53PM Newsweek is suffering from the left-wing market dilution and trying to solve the problem by going... even more to the left.
There are so many left-wing media outlets in print, Newsweek, USnews & World Report, Time and every large city newspaper and what's on the right? The Wall St. Journal's Op-Ed page. 1 PAGE!
There are only so many leftists to pay for subscriptions to these sources that it had to happen.

"This was a great top 10!!! All those geniuses who actually thought she would be an acceptable VP have an IQ of one less than a mudslide and should predictably be pissed at humor making fun of their idiot poster child. Made moose jerkey on Rachel Ray.....doesn't get any better than that except for Palin seeing Russia from her house and possibly the rest of the continental US landmarks."

That was Tina Fey that said that, not Gov. Palin. You should really learn to tell the diffeence because it makes you look like an idiot.

Choosing the Right Luggage {Gadling}

Mar 20th 2009 1:43AM My recommendations:
1. Hard sided always unless you enjoy broken things.
2. Never buy black pilot cases. They are way too common and easy to confuse. My wife has one and has to check three dozen cases on the turntable before she finds hers.
3. My favorite suitcase has two wheels, a pull-up handle and a hidden strap in the handle to carry a second suitcase on top like a hand-truck. I love it.
4. Don't buy cheap Costco or Wal-Mart knock-offs. The brand-name suitcases like Samsonite and American Tourister cost more but pay back in conveniece and less frustration. I learned this the hard way.

RNC gives Sarah Palin a $150,000 shopping stipend {Stylelist}

Oct 23rd 2008 1:27AM Wow, that's some hard-hitting journalism. The RNC gives their VP candidate some private donor money to go shopping. It's a scandal for sure.
Up next the Media investigates Obama's custom tailored suits!
Wait for it...
wait for it...

AOL Straw Poll: Feb. 4-11 {Politics Daily}

Feb 9th 2008 12:43PM Hillary Experienced?
Experienced in what? She's been in the Senate for seven years with ZERO legislative accomplishments. The rest of the last 16 years was spend in the White House and the Govenor's Mansion throwing dinner parties. Oh yes, there was that healthcare takeover thing that gave Republicans control of congress for twelve years. Thanks for that. Using the White House "experience" standard, Nancy Reagan and Laura Bush are qualified to be POTUS.

Least green celebrities: Cindy Crawford {Green Daily}

Dec 21st 2007 1:03AM Follow the money.
Gore isn't a contributor to his "carbon credit" outfit, he's an investor. The more carbon guilt that he makes you feel, the more you donate and the richer he gets.
He's now on the board of an investment capital firm that invests in "green" projects. Do you think that Gore is on the board for free? Nooooo, he's going to make more money on all of the hype that he's creating.
I'm so jealous, I've got to figure out how to make a buck off of global warming before the hoax blows over.

Passenger too sexy for Southwest Airlines (LUV): Miniskirt gets waitress tossed {BloggingStocks}

Sep 10th 2007 10:51PM It all started when stewardesses wanted to be called flight attendants. Their jobs went from serving the customer to becoming rear cabin police. Now they've gone nuts with power.

A&P Sues 'Produce Paradise' Video Rappers {News Bloggers}

Sep 1st 2007 12:36AM "10. Speaking from experience, I can tell you that the supermarket industry has nothing but contempt for it's associates. Ever since the big strike 15 years ago, there is a hostile us-vs.-them mentality that didn't exist before. When the strike ended, the stores got rid of virtually all full-time personnel cut wages by introducing a tier system to the unions--reducing them to 'sweetheart' status. Today, they hire mostly kids and take advantage of the fact that these kids--having never worked before--don't realize that work is not just supposed to stink. When you complain that things are not the way they ought to be, they 'suggest' that you quit. Can anyone say, "Hostile work environment"? Work can be fulfilling, satisfying and even uplifting. The fact that it can be in my mind tells me that it should be. But, in the supermarkets, it is degrading. You can work your butt off and still have NOTHING to show for it. Let me put it another way: When the customers are the BEST part of the job, you KNOW there is something SERIOUSLY wrong!"

Keith, you should quit..that is unless they're are employing you against your will.
