Aug 26th 2011 4:00PM I don't understand how any of this is the banks fault. I also don't like this idea because those of us who still have equity in our homes because we didn't gamble with the banks money will be the ones paying for those who are underwater, we will pay for it as shareholders of the banks and as neighbors to those who are forced to sell through forclosures or short sales. The fix is for people to pay the bills that they promised to pay. Be responsible and stop laying your problems off on someone else like big evil corporations.

Oct 18th 2010 11:13PM My experience with my mother in law is very painful. My wife bought a house next door to her mother 9 months before I married her and we can't get out of the house! We are stuck next to my controlling monster in law. What is wierd is that she complains about how her mother in law was exactly like she is, only she doesn't see it in herself.
She feels comfortable weighing in on family decisions like our budget, having my son circumsized, my carpet in my house...There are no boundaries with this woman. The only good thing is that her life expectancy isn't all that great since she has diabetes and is in a wheelchair. I know that sounds really bad but I just want to have my own family and make decisions just between me and my wife.

We need to get away from a ponzi scheme that redistributes money to a system that is fully funded and transparent, where there are assets which have the capacity to grow over time. This system should never have been devised, it was designed to fail. Madoff wen to jail for less than this!
