Richard Branson shares his travel tips {Gadling}

May 5th 2006 7:38PM Re: Breitling Watch - sounds a lot like a watch-cum-swiss knife to me!

Re: Massage - great idea. I have seen more and more airports (the last one I have seen being Schiphol) where you can get a short massage at the terminal. For stressed out travellers, this could mean a lot.

Philippines mothers chase breastfeeding record {ParentDish}

May 5th 2006 9:19AM Interestingly, breastfeeding is not commonly practiced in the Philippines. Some even "think" that only poor people breastfeed their kids! I find it ironic (and stupid) to organize something like that in order to break a record. They should, instead, try to promote the benefits of breastfeeding first.

Conde Nast's Essential Tips for Business Travel {Gadling}

Apr 16th 2006 7:25AM I agree with you. Most think that travelling on business is glamorous. If you only think of trips all over, nice hotels and the fact that the company picks up the tab, then yes. However, a lot forget that these "perks" are paired with: long work hours, stress and lonely hotel rooms, among others.

Great link on Conde Nast. A great summary of the basic travel tips... plus, more!!!

Conde Nast's Essential Tips for Business Travel {Gadling}

Apr 16th 2006 7:18AM I agree with you. Some think that it's so glamorous to travel around the world, stay in nice hotels and have the company pick up the tab. A lot don't know that this comes with a price: long working hours, lonely nights, separation from family and stress, among others.

Great tip on Conde Nast's list. A great summary of all the basic travel tips... plus, more!

Business trip w/o the babes: incredible sadness of being {ParentDish}

Mar 22nd 2006 4:34AM I know exactly how you feel. Sometimes, it makes you wonder if moms get separation anxiety more than the kids.

Bring a picture of your family to keep you company, call them before you go to sleep and find a bit of time (even if just at the airport) to buy that little something as a present when you return.

Be strong! :-)
