Jan 27th 2010 5:15PM At least matt had parents that love him. My parents really should have not had children. When I was a teenager my mother told me that when she found out she was pregnant with me she was going to kill herself by stepping in front of a bus. My father was so selfish that he would be mad at my mother when she would pay attention to me. Lots of alcohol involved with them. I grew up with such a low self esteem that haunts me to this day. I started going to church, went to college, and made a life for myself. I am self supporting and the family that really never wanted me wants my money. Kind of funny! No matter how many degrees I get or how successful I get there is that little gnawing fact that no one really wanted me. And by actions, they still don't. At least matt has parents that love him!

Would he have so many women after him if he were just plain old jon with no money. I mean he doesn't like to work. They need to think about why would a man have 8 children on purpose and then decide he doesn't love their mother all of a sudden. What a wack job.

Jul 26th 2009 6:10PM In my career as an RN I have found that there are some excellent LPN's and some not so excellent. If you are an LPN please don't take the attitude of a nurse aide. Take responsibility for you patients and be active in your position. Some LPN's just push problems they could take care of to the RN. They do their job when and how they feel like it. Some RN's are the same way but they don't last long and end up working in a nursing home. The LPN's I work with now are special and can work circles around many of the nursing staff. Just remember to check your attitude and do the work you know your supposed to do. Hopefully you will see the attitudes change in your facility. RN's who automatically judge a nurse because they are LPN's have self esteem problems. My opinion.

Jul 26th 2009 6:05PM Sorry you feel that way about nursing. I have been an RN for app. 16 yrs. I have virtually worked in every type of nursing there is. I think and hope I have finally found something I can live with at the company I love. This is a miracle for me. It have only been 6 months but any job I have had before I realized I would be at that position short term way before this. I would like to retire from this position. Just keep looking. Keep your eyes open. The perfect position may just be in your company. It is true, what other 2 year degree can you make 65,000 per year? Nothing I know of.

Nov 25th 2007 4:59PM Oprah is about the only person/celebrity in the limelight that cares about others. We see what she does for her shows but I know that for every show we see there is a thousand other things done that we don't know about. Why do you think she is so successful? She makes a concious effort to give back from her success. I guess some people can't believe that someone would do that because they never would. I am a white female and truly believe Oprah is great, loving and caring. Get off her back!!
