Feb 20th 2011 6:55PM Very nice article. Thank you for printing it as I'm sure your readers will learn a lot. I would like to correct a few things though. Legal nude beaches in the US like Blacks, Haulover in Florida, or Sandy Hook in NJ, or long time nude use beaches like Little Beach, HI are very wholesome and fun. You would feel very comfortable bringing your family to these beaches. These beaches are not wild.
Also St. Barts is not a wild party scene either. They also have a long time nude beach there, Anse du Saline which is very nice.
Just because a beach or resort is nude does NOT make it wild. Fun, yes as nude sunbathers are the nicest people in the world.
I am an American Association for Nude recreation PR team member. Our organization promotes fun, wholesome nude activities. It has been around since 1931. Again thank you for mentioning all about the fun world of skinny dipping. Once you try it you'll never want to have funny tan lines again.
Jul 17th 2010 1:43PM Nude vacations are one of the fastest growing trends in the travel industry. AOL just this week covered the Guinness World Record skinny dip on their home page by showing a CNN video taken at The Terra Cotta Inn clothing optional resort and spa in sunny Palm Springs, CA.
Here's the CNN link: http://bit.ly/SkinnyDipVideoCNN
Many modern Nudist resorts are no longer like the nudist colonies of old. Many also do not have membership fees.
So if you are looking for a fun wedding destination or a nice romantic honeymoon, try a fun nudist resort, you'll be glad you did.

We are from Chicago and have lived in Palm Springs for 15 years. I would never live anywhere else.

Aug 27th 2007 12:25PM I have been doing naked yoga for years. It really keeps you in tune with your body. Plus you don't have tight gym clothes restricting your movements.
I do own a clothing optional resort in Palm Springs called The Terra Cotta Inn http://sunnyfun.com
We also have guests do naked yoga in the moring sunshine. Mary Clare
