But when this guy passed the two guys down the slope, I realized by his "hey bros" it is simply pure bravado and ego, and of course 5000 cc's of adrenaline. I have met some risk takers, and their stories are usually about what injuries they have had, what gravity tempting jumps or cliffs they met up with, what has been broken and showing everyone the scars. I would hope they would be alive still to impart their stories, as sadly maybe that's all they have in their life' bag of tricks. And then someday, lights out, or some self realization would occur and maybe take up something really hard, like commitment to another person so you have to be responsible for your own life to someone else or something mind challenging. Buts hey, that's me here on the ground, enjoying my own brand of challenges.

Jun 27th 2012 10:24AM The right to become wealthy is still in place. The ability to lose that wealth like their neighbors is also still in existence. Instead of an indictment of evil for being filthy rich, go out, make money and spend it legally the way you wish. They bought property, employed workers to tear down a rally ugly structure, clear the path for a nice neighborhood view, and will plant a garden to have fresh vegetables. They also pay very high property taxes, now increased dramatically for adding on more property that pays for services to the city, county or state.
OR:Lets dress up in rags common to the French in the 1780's storm their private home with pitchforks and torches, burn it down, drag them out and send them to the guillotine in the Place de la Concorde.

May 23rd 2012 8:04PM Umm. Having your cell phone or electronics on does not cause an engine access panel to come off. Someone just forgot to clip the latch tight or tighten the screws...not good.
It looked like the guy recording was trying to get out at the exit door...yea, good idea in flight, or is he a Darwin Award candidate?
I was landing with in a commercial aircraft and it was obvious a former air craft carrier pilot reversed with so much throttle we had wiplash. When I passed by her at the exit door when we were deplaning, I said "M'aam, the runway is 2 miles long so we wouldnt need to worry about swimming today" She blushed and knew I knew she knew I knew ... the captain got all defensive and I said its all good...pilots are people too.

Jun 14th 2010 4:12PM Pay the Pilots, and get on with it. Its a good airline and ontime flights have made me a happy customer. They are underpaid as it is. Over 180 millon in profits last year for Spirit. Give the accountants over there who have no education in human raltionships whatsoever or appreciation for those who have sacrificed to make Spirit successful their pink slips and get those guys back in the air! Now!

It is, of course planned and staged, and we are entertained, or not depending on if you enjoy being embarrased for Leno. Either way, I turn off the tv as i think Kimmel has the personality of a mugger. Didnt NBC take a poll with a placebo audience to see what their reaction was, like how nauseated are you on a scale of 1- 2: Woozy or tossing dinner? Answer: get the mop.

A good speaker, yes so have been others: Huey B Lewis of Louisianna for one. But Obama should not be treated as a rock star, as you certainly think of yourself,and certainly not a Messiah so be very careful what you wish for; we don't need Elvis in the Maison Blanche. The Presidency is scarred with an immense erosion these last 8 years.
