Mar 28th 2011 6:11PM Well now girls and boys, a bite of mac & cheese won't hurt. If you are near a Whole Foods, stop by their steam table and pick up a sample cup of their m&c--it's yum. Personally I like good old reliable dark chocolate.
Feb 14th 2011 10:30AM Maybe all these stories about HD are the reason it is so hard to get waited on in one of their stores! (LOL--have happy lives)
Feb 13th 2011 12:35PM It requires talent, intelligence and perserverance to accomplish what Kelly Ripa has done in her television career. She was a young teen when she started acting on t.v. and has grown into a successful daytime talk/entertainment host who also is able to spend time with her family (thanks in part to her willingness to "get up early"). As for her petite build, that's her business just like it is a personal issue for those of you who are more, well....filled out.
Feb 9th 2011 8:00PM You are so right. Neurological involvement is one of the most pressing dangers in situations like this. People in situations like this usually suffer mightedly during withdrawal which may be part of what he is avoiding. Hope his father follows through his threat to force him into treatment. It might be a good example to young people who follow these stories.
Feb 9th 2011 7:49PM The older shows are really funny; but the latest ones seem a little flat, perhaps due to writers. Seems that Berta and Mom and Herb have the best lines. I am sorry to see the kid sink into a dirty mouth; and I'm no prude. That's just not very funny most of the time.
Jan 24th 2011 7:01PM I'm glad to see that someone is supporting Kelly. She is delightful and does a good job of hosting in a fairly difficult situation. She is not paid to "look smart"; but you can bet that she is plenty intelligent to have developed that job and held on. Good going, Kelly. PS: Kathie Lee was very annoying in that position.
Jan 16th 2011 9:26AM Goodwill has a website, goodwill.com that my sister likes. I am fortunate to live in an area that has tons of good thrift stores. But for folks who do not have that, the Goodwill site might offer some cheap treasures!
Jan 9th 2011 6:41PM You are so right. However, TLC is probably giving him plenty of money! I never ever watch TLC. Those shows are just pathetic.
Dec 20th 2010 9:19PM Never had a problem with meds. But TSA will check powder of just about any kind. I even had them check a couple of jars of BBQ rub that we were taking to our son---it was kind of funny actually.
Dec 20th 2010 8:52PM I always take enough meds to cover the whole trip in my carry on---just in case my checked baqs get delayed or (gasp) lost. Also, one change of clothes.
