Joe the Plumber's Lucas County Ohio: There are decent things to do there. How about a corn maze and Toledo? {Gadling}

Oct 17th 2008 1:53PM Ha! Loved this post. You see, I'm from Toledo but escaped long ago (aside from necessary visits). They have been getting so much press with this Joe Plumber thing that I wonder if they will see tourism dollars. In any case, the city is a has-been industrial town with a hilarious mayor and no convenient flights into the airport (unless you're flying in from Detroit- 40 minutes away by car). When I was still living there, we won the "All-American City" award. I think the town reacted with a collective "um, ok."

Happy Birthday Gadling! Win free premium tickets to Amsterdam on OpenSkies! {Gadling}

Oct 8th 2008 11:08PM Happy Birthday, Gadling! If I had the free tix, I would take my laid-off-in-new-york-during-the-financial-crisis butt to Amsterdam and possibly never come back. There will also be brownies.

Free public theater tickets in Central Park to see "Hair." The how to get them and why I'm feeling miffed {Gadling}

Aug 26th 2008 10:57AM This happens in all major Manhattan lines. Thank god you didn't try for any of the past iphone releases; those lines were half paid line-waiters or friends who were replaced last minute.

WEJETSET & Mercedes Benz Contest {Luxist}

Aug 18th 2007 7:19PM Um, I think there's already a store doing this. I bought my Samsonite Black Label and this uber-modern packing system thing from a place called Flight 001. I think they have a few stores, so you can always go there.
