African Safari Guests Get A Thrill When A Leopard Makes An Unexpected Kill {Gadling}

Oct 3rd 2012 2:28PM I can hear it already! The poor souls who lost their jobs when Bain Capital downsized/outsourced them. Hey people, this is the natural order of life. Without Venture Capitalists the workers would overgraze the economy. And what about the CEO? How would he be able to earn a living, by actually producing something?Instead of merely acquiring companies and laying off or outsourcing thousands of American Workers and eliminating pension benefits.

Inside Look: NYC's 'Convertible Brownstone' (VIDEO) {AOL Real Estate}

Apr 6th 2012 6:22PM I believe the inspiration for this comes from the line Tom Hanks says to his fellow contractors in frustration at the many changes his client keeps making to her kitchen remodel in the movie "Sleepless in Seattle". I believe it was something like 'Oh and could you Put the front on a hinge so I can get in with a garage door opener' Just saying...

'Don't Talk to Strangers' is Dangerous Advice {ParentDish}

Jul 23rd 2010 1:10PM The other day my friend was in the aisles of Target, trying to decide between two bathing suits.
Yeah nice try Lenore, we all know it was you picking out a bathing suit and found yourself on the wrong end of a mothers wrath! The simple fact is we live in a society that is dangerous and no adult should ever interact with a child with out first introducing themselves to the parent or guardian. While it is true that a child is more likely to be molested by someone the child knows, it is not unheard of for a stranger to socially engineer a child to place themselves in a compromising position. And yes middle aged women are perfectly capable of softening up a child for an accomplice to molest. This is a sick world we live in and its much better to be rude and safe than polite and victimized!

When Making New Friends Feels A Lot Like Dating {Lemondrop}

Jul 2nd 2010 12:52PM Lori:
"enjoy a whole lot of unqualified highs without dealing with the lows" is pretty much the definition of a casual acquaintance. But I have to agree with you that making a new friend is very similar to starting a new romance, or interviewing for a new job for that matter. Basically I have found in my life that for the most part we live pretty boring mundane lives so if an event occurs that naturally includes a group of people all sharing an event in there lives the bonding that occurs is really only temporary and if it wasn't for facebook would probably be forgotten quickly. But occasionally you can find a really good friend through one of these events. Just like occasionally you meet the man of your dreams on one of your dates, or find the job of your dreams in an interview. Just saying...

Jason Bateman Apologizes for Being a Jerk, We Decide If He's Guilty or Not {Switched}

Jun 30th 2010 6:44PM This reminds me of the time in the late 70's during the gas crises when there were long lines & Shawn Cassidy cut in line @ a gas station that a friend of his owned! I guess celebutards never learn eh?

Opinion: Happy Meal Toy Lawsuit Is Out to Lunch {ParentDish}

Jun 26th 2010 4:35AM My town just banned giving away toys with a happy meal, so the owner of the local Mcdonalds changed the menu so that you buy the toy and get a free happy meal! Duh..

What It's Really Like to Be 40 -- By a Formerly Hot 20-something {Lemondrop}

May 17th 2010 1:28PM Hate to be negative but I bet she wouldn't feel so positive about getting older if she was still single and had no children. Ask Garfunkle & Oates. Just saying.

Ex-Scientologist Reveals Details Behind 'Dangerous Cult,' Tom Cruise in New Book {PopEater}

May 14th 2010 12:56PM First of all, I think he has abused his "power" as a well-known figure to gain special favors from Scientology.

I'm not going to defend Scientology here but the author goes on for a whole paragraph about Tom Cruise getting special treatment like that's a human rights violation. What's up with that? Jealous much? And speaking of human rights violation I found it interesting that she used that term multiple times without ever defining any incidents. No human trafficking, no imprisonment in chains, no executions, you know like North Korea & Cuba & Iran. I'm not a fan of Scientology but that 1st paragraph just reads disgruntled ex employee. Just saying.
