Big Ship Cruises Not For You? New Cruise Line Has You In Mind {Gadling}

May 22nd 2013 6:53AM On a regular basis I would receive mailers from Viking and I found it amusing to open the brochure only to find out that a lot of the cruises were already 'sold out' at certain times of the year. I am still scratching my head on this one; how can a publication mailed to your residence already boast sold out before you even open the thing? I am referring to cruises in 2014. It appears that you have to marry someone at Viking to get inside intel on future sailing dates so you can beat others to the choice rooms and dates. This went on for a couple of years and I grew tired of it so I canceled the mailings and told them to ply their bait-n-switch to others.
They might offer great great cruises to exotic locales like the Danube, Angor Wat or BFE but I was not gearing up to play their game so I told them to forget it.
I have not missed their mailings one bit.
Leaving the reply section open for comments. This should be interesting.....

Woman, 62, Adopted by Man, 85, Fights Eviction From His Apartment {AOL Real Estate}

May 11th 2013 8:12AM From what I gather, it is OK for non-payers to continue to live in a unit and you still are required to make repairs and such? Where do you get the money to make all these repairs, which I am sure are on-going and never ending? You as a property owner are in a business to make something; you are not a charity. How long does it take this so-called Board to get someone out? Decades?
