An Exclusive Look At The View From America's Tallest Hotel Building {Gadling}
Aug 25th 2012 6:33PM See "R"'s comment above about the Ren-Cen in Detroit. It may be all hotel, but it is NOT "stand-alone."
Simon Cowell May Leave 'American Idol' to Focus on 'Factor' {PopEater}
Dec 18th 2009 12:30AM I have to agree. I've already lost interest entirely with Paula gone, and have no desire to watch it at all this season. I don't really care if Simon leaves. It was Paula and her interactions with Simon as well as the contestants that made the show watchable.
Hot Irish Girls -- Vote for Your Favorite {Asylum}
Mar 8th 2008 10:52PM Not absolutely certain that she is (part) Irish, but Courteney Cox, if so, should definitely be included. Oh, those eyes!
Starbucks all closing today: Where will customers go? {BloggingStocks}
Feb 25th 2008 11:15AM I got coffee at Bigbucks once, when I was doing a job in Manhattan and it was right across the street. The price was outrageous and the coffee was mediocre at best. You'll never see me in one again. I even resent that they opened one in the small town where I live. It feels like an attempt to "upscale" us when the country feel is why we live here. The coffee is better at Dunkin Donuts, and much better at my local deli, where a large cup of Cappucino is only $1.35.
Sprint Dumps Problem Customers {Switched}
Jul 6th 2007 9:37PM I've tried most of the mobile phone companies, and thrown two of my cell phones out of my car window (including the one from Sprint). I finally got Alltel when AT&T and Cingular merged and spun off my county to Alltel.
Best service I've ever had.
I agree with Tom Demotta's suggestion of a class action lawsuit except that all of the proceeds on those usually go to lawyers.
I also appreciate KnKolden's mention that dissatisfied customers now have an "out" of their contracts, just be a pest.
Side note to Greg: I don't see how your comment is relevant to the blog entry. It is poor taste to flame someone for the way they type; you have no idea why they type that way. My wife (for example) has a disability in her hands that makes her have to type all in one case (upper or lower) and often has to type "stream of consciousness" as well, like Tanya. Each keystroke she can eliminate (such as a period) is a small amount of relief for her. If you don't like the way it's typed, don't read it.
Tara Reid to Play a Private Eye -- Honestly! {Cinematical}
Jan 19th 2007 8:53AM C'mon, admit that it's fun to make fun of these people. They have more money than they need, more money than they know what to do with, and more money than we do.
Sure the media goes overboard hounding them, but they sure do give the paparazzi enough opportunities to humiliate them.
I may be the only one left who hasn't seen her topless, either before or since her "botched boob job," but I did see Britney's magazine cover and that was more than I needed to see, so I'm not looking for a chance to spy botched bosoms. A man can only take so much.
Ya got to admit she's cute, though, even though we have yet to see her act.
Rich Girl Throws Tantrum {AOL Video Blog}
Jan 19th 2007 8:34AM Take it back? Nahhh. Even better, take her to school in it and give it away in front of her to someone not in her "group," someone who, perhaps, can't afford one. Money means nothing to people like that, did you notice the house behind her?
Let her loss be the gain of someone who would appreciate it more. THEN let her walk, or pay for the bus herself out of the more than necessary allowance she probably gets. And I bet her brother put this on the internet. I don't blame him for not turning off the camera.
Rosie finally apologizes {AOL TV}
Dec 14th 2006 11:49AM The problem with Rosie is that she really just doesn't get it.
She's the most offensive woman on TV since Roseanne, but at least Roseanne was funny.
Rosie is just offensive, and not worth watching. Even her voice is annoying, so why bother.
Esquire magazine picks its '10 Most Awesome Autos' {Autoblog}
May 4th 2006 11:20AM I don't know about the Mazda either, and the Subaru, while a very good car (I had one and loved it), really doesn't belong on this particular list. I'd replace them with the Mustang others mentioned, agreeing that the Shelby would be better, but either one, and the new Pontiac Solstice. What a beauty, drives great, and goes for around $20k.
JLo To Battle Longoria, Like, For Real Yo {Cinematical}
Mar 24th 2006 7:25PM If Jennifer Lopez is on the way out, she's taking a roundabout route. Her performance in "Shall We Dance" was the best of her career, though Richard Gere gets some of the credit for making her look so good. She's still stunning to look at, and I don't really even consider myself a fan.
Oh by the way Adrienne, just like me, she's from the Bronx.
