Our Picks: Top 5 Flea Markets in the Country {Shelterpop}

Aug 31st 2010 5:58PM Brimfield is about 30 minutes East of Springfield, MA. They hold it in May, July and September. This years market will start on September 7 and run through the 12th. Should be 6,000+ vendors.

2007 Departures: Helen Walton, Roger Smith, Dick Wilson, and Merv Griffin {WalletPop}

Feb 12th 2008 11:30AM Barbara, I agree with many other comments, if you hate it so much here--leave. I have been to numerous other countries (both travel and military service). Even given our problems we have it much much better in the U.S. than the majority of other countries. The right of free speach is just one small area. Hopefully, you will not be quite so bitter--and search out a means to make things even better here. I have also been to Iraq, and am aware of the wholesale slaughter of their cititizens that occurred under Hussein's rule. I believe one of our major iniatives is to establish a country where it is safe to live. This goal probably won't occur given the long history of violence. But to blame everything on Bush is absurd. It will be interesting what people will be saying two years from now after the new administration is in place and has a chance to affect world policy.

Is Any Player Worth the First-Overall Pick? {Fanhouse NFL Blog}

Jan 27th 2008 12:49PM Two problems come to mind, the methods used to select top draft picks appear flawed. Just take a look at the contributions of the last 10 number one draft picks. Second, the pay schedule for top picks is way too high. Until a prospect actually demonstrates skill on the field, this money should not be paid. I do not think I would want to pay top dollar for any of those mentioned, compared to what would be available through free agency in most years.

Chargers Center Calls Richard Seymour 'Cheap and Dirty' (and Not in a Good Way) {Fanhouse NFL Blog}

Jan 21st 2008 9:31AM Patriots are a great team. It is a shame they had to tarnish it with cheating, dirty play, and a lack of class. Their legacy this year will be tarnished, ruining what could have been a perfect season.

Couple loses combined 580 pounds {That's Fit}

Aug 7th 2007 11:03AM Congratulations and the best of luck to them. The after pictures look great. What an accomplishment. To Chick: better go back to school, and study your math, if they lose another 200 pounds, they would weigh in the vicinity of 83 pounds each. Try to forgo the negativism and be happy for their accomplishments.
