Mar 25th 2010 9:55AM Isn't this nice. The banks and loan companies gave people loans with adjustable rates at a time when the rates were low and houses were selling for premium prices. Now, these same folks will be getting adjustments so they won't lose their homes. Homes, which are nicer than the one I bought 'cause I bought it with 30% down (with excellent credit) so I could have reasonable 15 year mortgage. No special 'secret' deals were struck between the realtor and lenders to sneak me under the radar. And, what do I get for all this? Probably paying for someone else to live in their house. Do entitlement programs include houses now too?
Note to Bank of America - How about lowering my loan by 20% just for paying my mortgage on time every month? All I get from them is emails and phone calls wanting me to borrow or refinance. Oh, now I get it. They need me to owe them more money, which they know I will pay on time every month, so they can adjust other's mortgages downward. Sweet. Well, its not gonna' happen.

Charlie being engaged takes away Charlie's fun lifestyle that made the show so good. Return to the bevy of babes, Charlie.
And Jake is not cute anymore so he needs to go too.
Save the show? Write a younger cute kid on the show with a fresh bunch of beautiful women. And give Berta a raise, she's the best. If Berta leaves, fold up the tent.

It takes more than just 4 wheel drive to do this. That truck's dualies were buried in the snow. To pull him out you also need good tires, vehicle weight and power. As a retired police sergeant I have been witness to those vehicles that can, and those that think they can, but can't.
The real point to all this is the fact that your typical low slung electric or green car would not have been able to assist, at all. This ability will be a thing of the past if the 'greenies' get their way. Then, when a storm hits and you need an ambulance, fire truck or the police..... good luck. They will be responding...... in a couple days.
Sort of reminds me of the day I had to use my snowthrower to open a path for a Jap car which was high centered on snow in the middle of the road. I cleared a path and then let 'her' leave that high gas mileage green lovers piece of crap in my driveway until the plows went thru. It sat there for several hours awaiting the Town trucks to 'rescue' it.
My vehicles up here in the 'Dacks? '06 Ford F150, 4x4 - 06' Ford Explorer, 4x4 - and a 03' Ford Thunderbird (for the short warm season). Matter of fact its snowing as I type this. I may take my truck for a ride, just because I can.

Jan 14th 2010 6:26PM Calm down all you cop haters. Geez. The cop probably pulled the bike over due to the helmet being so unusual. What we don't know, and Pam didn't mention in her rant, is what 'she' said to the cop as he stood there talking to Luis. My guess is after the cop listen to Pam run her trap for a few minutes.... he wrote Luis a warning instead of the moving violation, knowing full well enforcement wasn't really warranted. But at least Luis, with Pam at his side, will have to go thru the system to get it thrown out. Neither the Highway Patrol nor the cop are going to apologise, ever. Passengers get drivers ticketed and/or arrested all the time because they think they can shoot their mouths off with any consequence. Wrong.
The morale of the story.... tell the mouthy broad on the back of your bike to shut up.

Dec 16th 2009 6:45AM I certainly appreciate a naked woman, but I'll never understand the need to take their clothes off for PETA. Wear cotton if fur offends you. Just remember that fur from mammals are a renewable resource. Synthetic materials base is oil. Yes, oil, a non-renewable resource. So who is really being "green?" Wearing fur should be considered the same as walking to the store, or using solar energy. Where's the Sierra Club on this subject? Oh yeah, its politically correct to support PETA. Funny how those on the 'left' like to pick and choose what is good for the enviroment.
Also, I've noticed that the women who take their clothes off for PETA have the IQ of a squirrel.

Your buddies on the 'left' in D.C. will figure out a way to slide some of that stimulus money, in a plain brown envelope, to you so you won't go out of business. I find it amazing that the liberals are in denial that conservative TV, radio and publications are thriving as liberal stuff dies on the vine. No? Fox news vs. CNN or CNBC. Beck vs. any of the left's mouthpieces. Also, look at how many of Al Gore's book has sold..... compared to Sarah Palin's. Luckily for Al he stands to make millions off of the Climate Change, along with Cap and Trade scam, so he won't have to worry about book sales.
