Feb 14th 2009 1:42AM I've nothing really special planned....Hey I've been married almost 38 years...we're pretty much used to each other and don't have to do anything on a "declared" special day to let each other know that we care. I'll probably cook a nice healthy fish and veggie dinner and then we'll watch a good movie. Just knowing we have each other is good enough for us!!

Dec 26th 2008 2:10AM The coldest place I've ever been sounds totally ridiculous, but it was New York City, on a day in the 1970's during one of their biggest snowstorms! In the city, when there is no sun on a day like that, and you've got nothing but the cold pavement, and you're in the canyons between the skyscrapers, the wind and snow is blowing right through you. We wanted to really enjoy the city, but really couldn't...our faces and feet were frozen! We took refuge in an Asian bookstore, where the owners gave us the strangest looks (because the books were all written in their language) and then grabbed a hot meal in a cozy little restaurant. What a memory!

Dec 21st 2008 12:48AM My favorite childhood film was "The Incredible Journey." It was about a cat and two dogs who were lost and found their way back home and had many adventures. It was based on a book from the 1930's that I probably should someday read!

Dec 19th 2008 1:24AM I don't want to sound selfish, but I'd really love to have this watch. I don't have one of my own, I wear my late Dad's watch, which I gave to him 2 Christmas's before he passed away. I lost my Mom 3 years before that and my only sibling 12 years ago. Wearing Dad's watch has made me feel better....close to him, but I think that now I must go on and resign myself to the fact that though my parents are in my mind and heart daily, I have to make a new start. I would put Dad's watch in a safe place, always to be a sweet memory of the time I had with him.

Dec 11th 2008 4:34PM I love Friendly's hot fudge sundaes with deep chocolate ice cream, and also fried chicken with mashed potatoes with gravy and macaroni salad. I also love to make Paula Deen's "The Lady's Mac and Cheese" to die for macaroni and cheese recipe. Mind you....these are truly occasional treats...honest!
