Sep 28th 2010 9:27PM You dont need to know the motivation of the father because this shouldnt be tried in the court of public opinion. Its sad but he is the biological father. They courts say he has to go back to father. There is no recourse he does not belong to the adoptive parents he will be fine but will live a different life than what they had planned for him We had to give our little boy back in a 24 hour time peroid time just like this couple. Its harder on the adoptive parents than the child. He must want him because he is fighting to have him. So there is love there for him.

Sep 28th 2010 9:17PM I feel for this couple because I have been trhu the same thing. Our little boy was taken away from his biological mother because she was an addict. He was found in a crack house in a bed that was filthy with roaches in it and was almost dead because he had not had a formula for days. He was a crack baby but that was okay with us because we didnt care. He needed parents to love him and help him throughout his life. We also had the financial means to do that. Parental rights were taken away from the mother but....3 days before the adoption was final ( we had him for a year) the birth father showed up. The birth mother had told him about the baby You see she wanted him back. He even said he could care less about this sweet little boy but he wanted to make her happy and they could use the welfare. They just had a little girl 6 months earlier She was a crack baby too. This happened in the state of Florida and adoptive parents dont have a leg to stand on even if the biological parents are addicts. The judge said they had the right to try to stay clean and sober. Try to stay clean and sober mind you. Try thats it. We were the only parents he knew and he had special needs but they didint care. We did the gut wrenching thing and gave him back. Didnt prolong a custody fight because our attorney and the judge said that in the end he belonged with a biological family. So i know how bad they hurt but you have to give him back. God blessed you with him for this short time. He was able to live and have a good life but for some reason he was only yours for that time. He only knows why now. You will find out later. It will hurt so bad but it has to be done and you can survive because there is a plan or another child out there for you. I am truly sorry for you. may you find peace in time and realize you are not alone. Peace be with you.

Aug 19th 2009 5:23PM I dont see Matt Lauer sticking up for Richard Hatch. You know he was hounded to do this interview. Maybe Matt should step up and take the punishment for this interview. HAHAHAHAHAHA Like that would ever happen!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The network will distance themselves from this and all paperwork they got saying they could do this interview will be lost forever!

It doesn't matter that they were brutally slaughtered while one of their children was in the same room with them. Or that they were murdered. We have to trash their memory so that the pieces of crap that took their life dont die in the electric chair. I guess its okay to kill because the media and the crooked lawyers will make you look like you were bigger pieces of crap than your murderers. Sad so sad. This family will now look guilty and the murderers will look like they were forced to do that!!!!!

town meeting on tv that it doesn't matter how much of a ruckus you
make because they are going to do what they want to to do anyways and
screw what everybody else wants. I believe that Richard Hatch served
his time for something that the network was also guilty for. He is
the scapegoat and he has the u know what (b....) to talk about it and
obviously we don't have the freedom to speak our mind anymore. I
noticed this during the election. All the networks had their
opinions and if you didn't have the same opinion then too bad u were
a piece of cr.. So you were silenced. Think about it Sarah Palin
was run thru the ringer because of the outfits she wore. It worked
and people talk negatively about her all the time. Their opinion is
right and everyone else is wrong. Its sad we have taken so many
steps back when we have come so far. People think about it and look
around u will see I am right. If you don't I am sure I will get
censured and my comments won't be printed.

Jul 14th 2009 5:46PM You know I have read these and many more comments and I don't really know how Obama got elected. A junior senator with no experience that is a good speaker when things are written for him. I just don't get it. I know of very few people who voted for the man. Does anyone look at your neighborhood and your community and see how much help we need. Pretty soon we will be one of those countries that has ads on tv asking people to send money to help feed our children. Doesn't it bother you that we are doing worse than before? Or is that Sara Palin brings things to light that you won't want to hear? The only way we are going to fix America is to say we have had enough and take back our independence. I have the power to help my family and to make my family stronger just as you have the power to do the same for your family. If we keep going like this the divide in this country will be worse than the civil war. It shouldnt be that we are Democrats or Republicans but Americans. If any of you would listen to what Sara Palin is saying and had said all along is thats what she is. She is a hard working American who is not perfect. Just like each and every one of us. Shut up for once in your life and look and listen! Stop cuttin her down and just see what she has to say. Everyone has that right whether you think they are stupid or not. Fix your life and stop trying to bash people for bringing things to light. If she is so stupid as you claim then she will have no effect of anything but if she is right then you will feel like idiots for saying what you all are saying. Free speech is one of rights and it doesn't mean you have to like it!
