Sep 8th 2009 1:31PM It's really sad to see how many young men squander their money away on cars and big houses. Most of those who live successfully after the cheers are gone have made it a point to put something away for the future.
Even people who are just working regular jobs and are not making mega bucks should have enough intelligence to plan for the day when they are either too old or too sick to work anymore.
I hope he is able to get through to the new ones coming in. This is a must read for every young man or woman whether they're athletes or not.

Sep 1st 2009 11:40PM One sure way to stop them is to either pay the bill or get into debt counseling. If you get into debt counseling, they will lower the interest rate to almost nothing to allow more to go on the principal. If you have an account with Sears however, don't ecpect them to work with you. They have a policy of not working with the customer to pay the bill off. If your interest on a Sears account is 28% when you go into debt counseling, it will still be 28% until you make the last payment. They're greedy. But all other companies will work with the customer to help them maintain their credit.

Sep 1st 2009 11:30PM I have only one credit card in case I need to rent a car when I fly in somewhere. I don't think they allow you to rent a car without a credit card. It's good to pay cash for everything but it's also good to have at least one credit card.

Take it to the political page and do your rant there. In fact that article is large enough to be put on Newsvine and you would get lots of people who agree with you and they would give positive comments. Take it to newsvine. That would be interesting reading on the political blogs

But I have more dislike for those who take the lves of babies. Pio Sagapolutel did a wonderful thing for underpriviledged in this country and his adopted country of Hawaii. Feb 7th 2009 2:10PM I'm not convinced that this child hung himseld. I strongly suspect that some older children may have had a hand in this. there are lots of unanswered questions. What did he stand on and to hook himself up to strangle himself.
Kids are such bullies now that I suspect hat someone older than the child did this to him.
How could school officials not know where the child should have been? Don't they account for the children any more. I guess things have really changed since I was in school. The teacher had a roster and as she read our names off we had to answer "present". And if we weren't there, she would ask other students if they were in fact at school.
