Nov 24th 2010 8:34PM While Angie does go overboard, I think that too much is made of Thanksgiving. Families get together and pretend that they are not dysfunctional, and that everyone loves everyone. This is often hypocritical. On the other hand, some families really do enjoy getting together and they truly have a good time. This is fine, and I do see the point in it. I don't understand, though, why there is so much hostility against Angie...she has a right to her opinion, and not everybody has to follow "tradition."

Nov 24th 2010 8:26PM While I think Angie is taking this too far, to me Thanksgiving is overrated. Families get together and pretend their problems don't exist, and, for one day, everything is perfect and everybody loves one another. This is somewhat hypocritical,in my view. But, to some families, it is a day of sharing and enjoying each other, and that's fine, too.

Mar 5th 2010 8:32AM I generally don't walk out of movies. However, if I find a movie uninteresting or not at all good, I will take frequent "breaks" during the movie. It might seem that's I've suddenly developed a bladder problem....lol.

Jan 21st 2009 10:35AM I am a Democrat and a moderate. I agree that this "flub" business is nonsense. But I am still not convinced that Barack's fancy talk and his nice clothing make him eligible for the presidency. And, by the way, we have never had a Jewish president or a female president. Funny, these issues never get any press coverage!
