Oct 26th 2011 2:07PM Has a lead flight attendant on a commercial airline,i am amazed every time i have to settle a dispute for seat reclining,baby crying to loud or to long.
Why do passengers feel it is alright for me to intervene and not themselves?????
I can and will pick up the crying child and try to make it stop crying if the parents allow it, look up if the seat in the front of you is not leaning to far back..
We are all in a close but public transportation vehicle
It drive me crazy that adults act like children and loose patience so fast.
So yes learn how to play nice.

Her parents used her as their private bank account and made her believe that she could do not wrong.

It is easier to retire at a proper age in europe,they have a social program that we ,in the us lack.
they do not have to go to 1-2 year of fighting with management to get a contract,or read letters explaining how much money their companies are losing while the top guy gals are sharing a few hundred millions $.
I hear a lot of negative comments about unions but in europe they are powerful and protect the little guys.
it is a customer service not a topless bar.

Sep 5th 2008 1:35PM Woaw a lot of irate people, yes it is FAA you have to listen to the crew member, but yes there are also piss off Flight attendants and pilots up in the blue,
Flying as change for all since sep 11th.
Security is hell to go thru it,
Share holders and management do not want to share their bonuses and most flight attendants are working under a 5/6 years contract after giving a lot of their pay and benefits to the company to save them from closing doors,
Hang on people things will get better, one thing in this world is forever and it is death ))))

frequent flyers are a bit like us they leave they life and family to make money .
And i agree it is going to be tough for a while with the bag's fee,and then we will get the hang of it.

Jul 4th 2008 1:19PM Air france being owned by the french government for so long never had to worry about money.
I do believe this time around designer Christian Lacroix is designing their uniform.
One of their flight attendant ask me whom does ours (AA) and i had to respond some industry in Poland wait no that was the last 2 yrs now it is in china lol.

Jul 4th 2008 1:07PM Well good for you that is why airline competition is all in the favor of the customer.
But yes as 20 yrs with AA i am also tired to say sorry no food no blanket no hotel room at my company expense ect..........
trust me most of us will love to go back to dishing meals and having amenities to offer our customers.
And it make it harder to digest that when we say sorry no and learn about Management getting huge bonuses.
Or when after helping some old lady putting her luggage up in the overhead bins and hurting your back you get denied medical pay.
So go on and go the way,but i enjoy that web site it actually make me smile and lighten my day.
