Toys 'R' Us Chided for Reinforcing 'Outdated Gender Roles' {Lemondrop}
Oct 7th 2009 6:25PM Thank my common sense for not having kids! Save tons o' $ by passing up the toy stores. There are plenty of persons who have had kids and cannot/will not take care of them. So, as it is with some neighbors. What I do is get some used books for them and take them to the park sometimes.
Breeders are everywhere around me. Whatever happened to birth control, in both sexes, and where did STDs and AIDS get lost. Such a pity.......

Could You Sleep in 50 Square Feet? {Shelterpop}
Aug 18th 2009 1:49PM I could do this, but the problem with me would be the no personal bathroom. I think of cooties. Many, many cooties. Any resturant there? When it comes down to it, I Could do it, but would not unless in a serious bind.

Aug 17th 2009 10:32AM Yep, the guy does have some cold eyes. I have decided to forgive him, because it is not for me to judge. He has done his time, according to our Court laws, and as as far as his badness against animals, God will sort him out when his time comes to fruition. Being a member of HSUS and PETA, this whole thing was difficult to make peace with. But I have, and now all I can do is wish him well.

Paul Timman Doesn't Just Tattoo Skin, He Does Dinnerware {Digital City Blog}
Aug 14th 2009 3:47PM All of these artists do wonderful work. Hats off to them!
However, "back in the day", in the 70s, I had a tattoo artist named Smokey Nightingale. He had done many tats for many famous persons, however, at that time, it was innappropriate for him to mention names. Seems as tho the rules have changed. I sorta do not like the new way of "tat & say". Call me old fashioned, but that is what I think.
Would be glad to speak with anyone who worked with "Smokey"
The Easy Way to Better Credentials {Careers Articles}
Aug 6th 2009 9:39PM Before becoming a bank teller, I left a music theatre, where I started as a ticket taker, ending up wking. in the office, directly with mgmt and the event-star persons who were working for us each and every night. Title was mgmt. assistant, which, in the 70s, required fetching and picking up many products not found in stores.
The music theatre closed, so job was finished for me.
For some silly reason, thought being a bank teller sounded fine to me, even though I had no heat when it came to calculators, etc. All it took back then was to have a clean police report and a drug test. Passed both. Then, the bank and anyone having to do with their name were called into court. There was some sort of badness going on with the books, which I had no access, or reason to have access to.
So, that is my story about bank tellers as I know it.

Would You Shave Off Your Eyebrows in the Name of Fashion? {Stylelist}
Jul 20th 2009 10:26PM Female eyebrows can be sexy, if groomed correctly with plain old tweezer from home. As you age, so do the hairs in your eyebrows, making them difficult to grow back, and they turn grey as well. I have been there and done that; to the point of deciding to have mine permanently tattooed on. Then, they can still grow out if you allow it, if not, you will still have some lovely eyebrows.
Same goes for eyeliner.

Update! Face-Tattoo Girl Admits to Lying {Asylum}
Jun 23rd 2009 6:46PM My oldest tattoo is 35 years old. Yep, I was a an old hippie radical, and went to those Nam affairs in DC, etc. Being a female, they Are radical, altho artful and well placed. Ever seen a bird in the bush? Yikes; what possessed me to get that one? Still, they are a souce of conversation with Drs and nurses. Still fun, but I wish I would not have gotten that chain on my arm. It looks nice, but for my age, I keep it covered.

AOL Straw Poll: Sept. 11-18 {Politics Daily}
Sep 13th 2008 2:25AM Neither of the gentlemen have time for debate. They are currently making their own statements for themselves, and oopps, Mrs. Palin tripped over her own glasses. At least with Bama he has a heavy back up with his vice-president to be. The man knows overseas politics. Do not think I am afraid of him as I am McCain. A war dog to the end. Dude is not far from being into the Old Age Dogma. He is Really close to being senile. Sorry he did not have a kitchen table for so long. That does Not make him anything more than my Green Beret brother was. Except McCain would not go when having the option. All of that is Such old news. Ask my Brother what happened to him. Yep, he got hurt Bad on his spine, was captured and taken in. Yep, maggots in his food. He knew they were ok to eat. You see him today, he will not piss and moan about not having a kichen table. You would not even know he was a Green Beret, unless you notice the pins he wears to work to this day.
