I have Hashimoto's Thyroiditis, which is a severe form of hypothyroidism. Some people who have my disease take a thyroid pill and do not have much problems, while some people will gain 100 pounds in three months despite taking the medication and never having had a weight problem before. You can not judge how difficult her condition has been on her.

Mar 21st 2011 9:23PM While the passenger was wrong to be violent, the flight attendant made a huge mistake in serving the vegetarian passenger a meal with meat in it. I am a vegetarian and I would be outraged if someone made that mistake. The flight attendant must have realized what a huge mistake she made and therefore decided not to press charges.

Mar 21st 2011 8:54PM When I was a teenager, I thought that all sweets and fried foods had to be off-limit to me since I was trying to lose weight. Being only human, the forbidden aspect would make me binge when I took a bite of these foods.
Now, when I decide to shed pounds, I allow any food in my diet. I do not end up binging because nothing is truly forbidden. So, I have had experiences on both sides of this issue. At one point, I lost 35 pounds in a year while not depriving myself of any foods.

Sep 23rd 2010 8:49PM Julie Jumonville is ridiculous. When I ask an employee to do something, I expect them to do it. She is going to hire someone who doesn't do what she asks when they don't feel like it. And, she is going to discriminate against anyone who doesn't have strong feelings towards dogs. She is in the baby business, not the dog business. I love babies, but I do not have strong feelings towards dogs. It seems like she has succeeded in life despite her intellectual limitations.

These people have a total lack of character. They owe a lot of money to business people. They are similar to Bernie Madoff in their business dealings.

Jun 26th 2010 11:43PM I don't think this is a good law. A landlord may fully get rid of the bed bugs, but nobody is going to want to rent the place due to the history. The only law should be that landlords have to pay for bed bug treatments.

Jun 26th 2010 12:20AM Only 10% of the population have been shown to have higher blood pressure when they eat a high salt diet. This is one area that the CDC should really not bug people about.
