Aug 14th 2009 11:46AM Many olympic sports face the same problem in terms of a level playing field. Hockey, Basketball, Gymnastics, they are all dominated by 3 to 5 countries while the others are there just to be crushed. I think golf would have this problem less because you could pair elite players and keep the cameras on them, instead of having to watch USA Basketball beat South Korea 104 to 60. Speaking of how the dream team expanded basketball internationally, they did it beating their competition by 42 points! An uneven spread of talent from country to country in the olympics is a given.
