Apr 23rd 2010 8:15PM Now, now...exactly WHY should this be a freaking surprise to anybody at all? and "NO", not "everybody" in regular businesses, (i.e. hospitals, etc) would be immediately "out the door" for doing the same as this...ONLY the "so-called" regular employees/peons, as management and administrations like to call them, would be "out the door immediately" for it. The higher ups are always "covered" so to speak.

Feb 23rd 2010 12:18AM I ABSOLUTELY 100% agree. Not just for "food" animals, but mainly dogs, cats; regular supposed pets. If ANY animal abuser would do the things they torture fighting dogs with, deny their own "pets" which are supposed to be members of the family, they will carry this over to spousal abuse and CHILD ABUSE!! It takes "sick" people to do the things they do in the first place. Geez, read the news; guys abusing girlfriends, wives and their own kids every day, and killing their girlfriend's babies. Hell, we just had a guy in my state beat his 3 year old step-daughter WITH HIS OWN INFANT SON to the point he killed his baby in this way. Animal abusers should routinely be cross referenced for other violent crimes toward people and vice versa!! GREAT LAW!! We need it in GA too!

I WANT TO KNOW WHY she has not been arrested, detained,put under investigation by the Secret Service because she has a website where she has even told her extreme racist, KKK, etc. friends who love her website that "IT IS TIME TO PICK UP AND BEAR ARMS AGAINST OUR GOVT. AND PRESIDENT OBAMA."...and what all these other morons post on internet posts all over AOL need to be found and investigated, as well for their open threats and apparent knowledge of AMERICANS amongst us who intend to do just that. I mean, I'm just saying...Americans have had our own home grown good ole white boy network KKK, etc. TERRORISTS running things here for hundreds of years..somebody NEEDS to put the American terrorists out of business first.

Jan 2nd 2010 8:23PM Decriminalize it and legalize it. Studies have PROVEN that inhaling and even holding in mariuana smoke is less damaging to lungs than cigarette smoke is. NOBODY has or ever will stop making people smoke marijuana just because it is illegal. People CAN function appropriately and even in less violent and dangerous manners to society under the influence of marijuana. It IS the only thing that slows the progression of total blindness from glaucoma. It HAS been shown to help people with multiple sclerosis. It IS A PROVEN FACT that ALCOHOL is the most deadly thing around; more deaths attributed to alcohol than anything else. Drug Companies who prey on us need to be MORE regulated and stopped; look at the side effects on all these "legal" drugs you take. geez...It would stop the violence over drugs to a degree, at least in the marijuana dealing area. GET REAL AMERICA!! Wake up and STOP taxing cigarette smokers even more than you tax alcoholic killers.

Nov 6th 2009 2:48PM JOLEAH...that is not ridiculous...I work for a HOSPITAL. Their sick policies are these. If I call out of work for any 8 hours in a 40 hour work week time period for any emergency/unplanned sickness, I lose allll my entire incentive/production pay already earned/potentially earned for a whole two week 80 hour pay period. I lose my pay I count on to pay bills. If I am out for H1N1 or any flu virus, or any illness that takes 3 days, my doctor has to fill out forms to be turned in to HR requiring me to take a LEAVE OF ABSENCE. (just 3 days). They also have the policies of 7 occurences in a particular small time period of absences and you get written up/disciplined. I have served this hospital loyally for going on 19 years already, and this is how they treat us. So you see, I have to declare myself totally immune to H1N1 and any other illness, or I lose my means to pay my bills...Luckily my kids are grown so I cannot stay out to tend them sick now.
