Dec 14th 2011 10:00AM As a former POC firefighter for 15 years. The house in question is outside the city limits. They DO NOT PAY TAXES TO THE CITY. Were I was a member we also had some unincorporated areas, they had to pay the city for services. Do you think your car insurance company would pay if you bought it after your acciedent? The department would not let someone get hurt, BUT do all the people that hammer on the fire dept in these blogs would be the first to complain if there taxes went up to pay for areas that do not pay

May 11th 2010 1:55PM It all breaks down to PLAY. Kids today DO NOT PLAY. I'm 56 and I was outside playing baseball ect. all day. There were no cable tv, xboxes, playstation ect.
Kids need to get off the couch and be active. As far as the food I eat sweets and fried foods al the time. The goverment just wants to creat a nanny state.
