Ski Areas {Gadling}

Mar 10th 2006 12:05PM Cant believe that Heavenly South Lake Tahoe was not mentioned. Am here skiing with my family. Great skiing, great ski school for my 6 and 4 year olds. Kids never skied, now are skiing blues and blacks after 4 days. Resort close to town with casinos and night life 4 miles away. Affordable with the best views of Lake Tahoe and mountains from the ski runs. No other place can come close to the vistas.
