Mar 3rd 2012 1:21AM There is no way a normal everyday person can know what to expect in being a care giver, especially to a loved one like MOM.It is so contantly demanding that you sometimes don't get time to sit down and have a soda break. Little by little, more & more each has to be done: Bathing, dressing, feeding exercisiing(if possibe)tthe listS are non ending.chore by chore,day after day week after weeks. Evervy moment care giving eats a way at you ,, you life, your health- both physical & mental.IF will burn you, it can kill you, or worse....
So before you start talking down to a caregiver and their motives. YOU HAD BEETTER THINK LONG AND HARD HOW YOU"MIGHT THINK" YOU'D FEEL IN THOSE SHOES.

Sep 17th 2011 12:34AM Having lived in california for almost 50 years, And been to Yosemite Nat'l Park more then I can count, I can attess to the danger in the outdoors. As stated in the story, the Sierra Nevada mountains are made of granite. You might think Granite is tough, but is does errode and break down faster then a lot of other stone. The Face of Half Dome has had 100,000's people hike it. It is worn smooth and slick. By it's very nature it is dangerous even dry in the summer time. This goiing without saying that granite rocks in the Sierras, where ever there's a lot of foot traffic the granite is slippery. You can twist an ankle walking on flat level ground , if you step on worn slik granite.
As to the dangers of water, Think of it as liquid metal. The force that it contains is NO MATCH for man or beast. It is without doubt that it's the most deadly element on the planet. Fear it as you would Grizzly Bear, and Respect it for what it can do.. The life you save could be your own.

Jul 8th 2011 1:18AM What a great idea. Let our returning military do the job of civilians who have prove all my them selves, that they are incomplident. I'll admit not all; But I've seen some who made me stare at them and question their capibilities.
We should write our COngres person, Senate persons and The PRESIENT HIMSELF. Thanks for replying and the idea....

Jul 7th 2011 8:31PM I lost a one of a kind proto type "GUESS " watch to TSA at Las Vegas. Right at the X-Ray belt. It went in , but never came out.. DENial all the way by them, followed up with , if we got (30 days later) we sold it for charity. TSA SUCKS ! ! !
I'll won't trust them with a dirty nose tissue........

Don't judge unless you've been there, thus know better. I don't like the media for the way the handled this. they are always looking for a bloody story. Nov 27th 2010 4:57PM Most employers(just like CEO's) have no idea about what goes on with those of us down the ladder from them, nor do they care. It's all about the money to them. ONLY WHEN the money is affected in their direction, do they take notice. We the backbone of ALL COMPANY"S are all just disposalable labor to them. What would a Army be without soligers(backbone); Generals (CEO"S) are nothing without us. We make it all happen, they reap the rewards. The day they finally wakeup and realize this - the better off EVERYONE including our country will be. We are all in the same boat, if it sinks-we all sink with it, money or no money.
So I say to those on top-Take care of the little people on the bottom; as they are the ones holding the ladder your standing on.. The bigger you are the HARDER you fall. You may find yourself in the same lifeboat as those you didn't care to know or take care of. We on the bottom had your backs , why didn't you have ours.
