I agree that Alaina should not have to be subject to this kind of Judicial
BS....I have a dislike for Judges who tend to play GOD and often times
their "Judgments" are base more on their own opinions than the facts.
Everybody will have a difference of opinion, but if anything Passion is the key word here...I really surpised me that it was a female judge that made that final ruling.....such passion...she must be a cold clinical fish with everything that comes her way.

great if the electric company would give them a break...but that wont happen because utility companies such as electric, gas, water, do not give a hoot about him or anybody else..only themselves, and the money they make off of the people. I truly feel
for the boy and his parents, and pray that something can be found or happen to make this go away....but I would not bet my cookies
that the electric company would do anything to help....As a matter of fact I "Double Dog Dare" that electric company that deals with this familie's electrical needs, to read this and reply and step foreward and show any humanitarian side to them, and offer some great deal for this family....G-d bless this family and boy....

Nov 7th 2009 5:54PM Hate to bust that good news.....a little anyway....yes in mid flight the difference
in air pressure makes opening that door impossible.....BUT.....that
latch when flipped open will compromise the seal of the door so that
when the plane decends down to normal pressure levels {IE below 10,000'],
it can spring open during any sudden turbulance or jolt [IE when landing].
Good news though is that that breach of seal will be seen on the Pilot's
Warning Annunciator, when it first happens....so if the latch is open it can
be closed before any problems arise.

Sep 9th 2009 4:32AM First of all, the mother should have been able to take her child home. The minute a parent takes possession of their children ie picking them up after school, he or she assume parental responsibility for that child, and NOT the school. Horses were a sole
form of transportation at one time in history. That principal was totally wrong, and I doubt if there was any rule or law broken by the mother riding a horse to pick up her child. Second of all Police officers are NOT taxi drivers nor Baby Sitters. He has far more things he has to do in his job. It was wrong to even expect him to do this. Though He does as a Police Officer have a duty to ensure the safety of all citizens, That was not an issue here. He actually placed himself AND his Dept. in a strong legal risk, should anything have happenned to that child while in his custody....and after he left her alone. If no laws were violated, HE should have allowed the Mom to take her child.

They have been used in airliners,for years and now
are big use in small general use planes, and now in cars and trucks they can be godsends. Though for the
most part they are fairly easy to use, it is important like anything else to read the manuals and learn the proper use of them. GPS systems are here,
and they are the most valuable navigation devises around. Driving, whether a boat, plane, or road vehicle, is serious buisiness, and must be given
total attention, and concentration. Folding maps,
using Cellphones, Eating, putting on Makeup,etc,
gives way to total distractions and problems than
properly using a GPS would ever do.
