Jul 4th 2007 3:39PM We make decafe ice tea in the microwave, put 4 family size tea bag in a tea pot with a lid add enough water to cover the tea bags. Microwave for six minutes. Put cold water with ice in a picture and pour the tea over the ice water. If you want sweet tea add the sugar or spenda to the hot tea before adding it to the cold water. Add lemon and ice to your glass and enjoy. That quick and easy. You can use the tea bag again and get a second batch of tea doing the same thing. When you come from a big family you learn how to streach thing, even tea.

Jul 4th 2007 3:22PM Sweet tea is a no no in our home in Florida, My husband like just tea. So I make plain tea, boil the water and tea bags in the micro wave for 6 minutes in a tea pot with lid, and then put it in a picture of cold water to stop the cooking process. This way he has the plain tea and I can have sweetend with lemon. Funny how we all like tea and do it so differently.
