Inside Look: MacKenzie-Childs Estate Is Famous Designers' Work of Art (VIDEO) {AOL Real Estate}
Sep 2nd 2012 2:19PM From the outside, they did a spectacular job.
From the inside, it is a disaster.
1930's black and white tile on the floor and ceiling?
Anybody buying this house, is looking at $500,000 (minimum)to make the inside presentable. I have no quarrel with the fact that they destroyed the inside of this home. It is, after all, their home. If they want to live like clowns, that is their right.
May I suggest Prozac for both of them, while they wait to get appointments with psychologists? They both really need help.
I know, opinions vary, and mine is no better than theirs.
Gas Explosion Destroys Connecticut Home, Killing Anthony Fratino {AOL Real Estate}

Hey, headline writer: Go look in your 'Chicago Manulal of Style'.
('father' is not capitalized unless it is a part of a proper name). I thought a priest had been killed.
Crane Topples Onto Newark, N.J., Home While Removing Tree From Yard {AOL Real Estate}
Aug 18th 2012 6:41PM At 75, I still have my eyesight. Take a look at the picture again. See the big hole in the side of the trunk? The inside of the tree is rotted out almost completely and it would have fallen soon in a wind storm, perhaps killing a bunch of people. What they did (taking the tree down) was correct.
And "no" to answer your question. *smiles*
'Sharpie Parties' Wreak Havoc on Foreclosed Homes {AOL Real Estate}
Aug 18th 2012 6:29PM At first I thought you were kidding. But then I thought about it.
As long as they know who the kids are, the justice system could give them a choice: Go to jail or get tattooed. And the kid has to pay for his own tattoos, a big one on each arm.
Justice with a capital "J."
Kid has no choice of tattoos.
Things like: "I am a vandal." "I ruined a house." "I should have gone to jail."
The Most Affordable U.S. Cities to Buy a House {AOL Real Estate}
Aug 11th 2012 7:19PM Ten places and not a one of them is a desirable place to live.
That the reason housing is cheap. I'm surprised they aren't giving houses away to get rid of them.
Banks' Paperwork Foul-Up Cost Atlanta Woman Her Home {AOL Real Estate}
Jul 9th 2012 2:36PM A better system, I think, is rather than suing boa, which only hurts the shareholders, is for people to sue the management, individually. Any monetary awards to come from their salaries. Start with the CEO and leave him with $100,000. When his salary gets down to that, start taking it from one of the other managers.
You'd see a whole new boa in about 5 hours. (nah, maybe less than an hour).
Banks' Paperwork Foul-Up Cost Atlanta Woman Her Home {AOL Real Estate}
Jul 9th 2012 2:13PM Some time ago I thought the boa problem could be solved by breaking them up into about 30 separate regional companies.
Now, I think it would be better to sell them off totally, to other small banks.
Let's have a law that no bank can be bigger than 5% of the total business in their area and no bank may do business in more than two states.
Probably wouldn't be as efficient, but it'd be a hel* of a lot more honest.

Jul 8th 2012 10:50AM A 2,000 square foot building is approximately 44' x 45'
A building this big is definitely not a game room or a play room or whatever else he wants to call it.
It's a church or some other commercial enterprise. Religion is fine, but the city is the one who would take the blame if there were a fire and people got killed. We have codes (stupid as they sometimes are - usually when we don't agree with them) to protect us all.
When an individual ignores the laws that protect others, they should be made to comply and if they refuse, then sent to jail until they do comply.
Pretty simple.
